Any interest in a meetup for Missouri/the midwest in general?
Probably somewhere near St. Louis, since it's
a. more or less where I live
b. one of the few big cities people care about in the state

If there's even enough GHers nearby to do it we can work out times and exact locations

Who's going-

Me (probably bringing one or two friends who are into keyboards too)
CPTBadAss (if enough people are going)
Feng (maybe)
Jcrouse (maybe)
dante (maybe)

I would be there. I am in Columbia, an hour and a half west of St. Louis. Also, feng is in St. Louis.

I am in Kansas City and my weekends are usually devoted to spending time with my family. But I may be able to make it work.

If this meet can be in St. Louis and on a weekend, I can probably make it out. It's a 5.5 hour drive for me so it's not terribly far.

Depending on the date, I should be able to make the trip there. I'll be coming from Nashville, which is 5 hours away.

Anybody have an idea for a location? Just like a general type of place. Somewhere with room for everyone and table space for boards. I have a couple places in mind that I'll post when I have time to get links, but I'm not sure how the lots of noisy boards would work there.

I wouldn't know about an exact city/state/locale since I've never been in the Missouri area. But I do know that someone had suggested renting a conference hall that some bigger hotels had for the actual meetup building location when we were discussing where to host the Chicago meet.

I was pm'd adout the hotel thing and think it's a pretty good option. Gonna call around or check their sites for prices.

That was me. It was a la Quinta and they wanted $25 for 4 hours. I am also the one who sent him the pm.    :)

Arch reactor is fine with it so long as a full member of theirs is willing to show up to unlock and relock the place. If one is willing then that should be a pretty good option.

Days that could work for me-

June 29 (though I wouldn't schedule it then due to such short notice)
July 6, 20, or 27
August 3 or 24 (and maybe 31)
And maybe some time in September

With KeyCon 2013 less than a month after, I'm going to have to bail on this I'm afraid. I really wish I could swing both, but alas I have to "pick my battles" with the wife.

The turnout is looking kind of low due to keycon being so close.
Basically if you're still interested just post and I'll add you to the op. If it's just going to be two or three people not much sense in having it.
