Not exactly sure what Red this is, but I love it.

Probably Painful.

So far we've seen Painful Red, Midnight Blue, Machine Green, and Milk Blue.

These look great colours but they don't match my plans.  Not that it matters as mine appear to have fallen off the belt somewhere near LAX on the 18th anyway :'(

Don't worry mines the same, might be a week before we get anything yet also if he has marked it as the correct price ready for customs as everything I have gotten over the last month has been hit, and it seems the same for most people I have talked to :X

There are too many nice pictures of things I have not got in this thread.

It is not helping my therapy.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

There's something seriously screwed up in our taxation system - Alcohol, cigarettes and fuel are taxed differently, so why not art?  The queen should not get paid for Clack's time and effort making $1 of plastic worth much more >:D

Not to mention the massive delay the process adds - the value is logged when it's sent so a computer needs to do a simple sum ($115/1.5*0.2 = £15.33 +£8 "handling fee") so someone needs to watch it through an x-ray then someone else needs to scan it, pick the sticker off the printer and stick it on the package.  How can this possibly take a week??  I just checked and as the government sold part of it they aren't subject to FOI requests so short of finding someone who works there I guess we'll never know!

Ahh well you see I'm not so fussed about the vat/tax from customs it's just the highway robbery £8 handling fee they slap on as well, like last week I got one from nubs which got customs of £3 okay cool I'll pay that nope £8 fee for them to molest my parcel :I

And it's seem like customs is coming for clacks then .-.

Therapy thread kinda sucks right now.

But don't worry, they'll be back. They'll be back when the newness of their precious new Clacks wears off. And they'll come back in droves when they realize that they're all fake and CC and K3 are ACTUALLY ONE AND THE SAME MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Are you sure this is the right therapy for you? XD

I wouldn't mind the fee so much if they did actually molest the parcels but they never even open them.  A big box with a thick metal case inside (sunglasses) they couldn't have x-rayed?  Fine.  Several pairs of earphones (pretty much a ball of wires on an x-ray)?  Fine.  Boxes containing multiple keycaps and several sweets with quantity of 1 on the front (from both Nubbs and Bro)?  No, that's not suspicious at all!  Maybe each package gets ran past a big drug detection dog with a penchant for fine steak...

Wow that sucks.  That means I am going to get dinged with like $50 of customs and duty. :(  I though clack man was knowledgeable enough to undervalue at least.

If anyone is unhappy about customs fees I am happy to buy your clack from you for purchase price plus the customs fees

There is still no sign of mine. Another day full of fail at the mailbox.
:-*

Yours is waiting for you after paying the customs fee :p

Lol touché.

I'm desperate enough at this point I would gladly pay it to get my Clack though!
Ohh no I was just joking not being salty, bet you still get yours before I get mine though :p

With the exchange rate and duty I will be in well over $200 for 125$ worth of clack.

If CC is K3, then none of the caps are fake...

It's all a conspiracy...

Or ALL of the caps are fakes!

You people are confusing therapy for the post your clacks thread. And it's hurting me... :p

+1

I must say if I were to be abducted and have every nook and cranny of my body defiled that would be the van I would want it to happen in looking PLUSH

You have some weird fantasies :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just curious if anyone is already keeping track of everything that's been posted here and in the mail thread from RADNELAC,  because I was about to start a spreadsheet  :llama:

I was hoping that someone had some data, like what the different priced Clacks were...how many are accounted for, etc.

If you PM me I can add you to the the existing sheet and you can run off of it or edit it directly.

Well its a 50 and a 75, so I am sure I will do alright. Duty is just one of things that chaps my ass though because it is avoidable and everything already costs us a lot because of the exchange rate. I'm not really complaining, but it ends up being substantially more for us. I almost always buy stuff from the classifieds because even buying stuff from EK ends up costing us double what it costs in the states.
