Yeah, CC's practice of opening it for mere seconds works for those who are truly dedicated to watching the thread (pee, poo, thirst and hunger be damned). One literally have to be glued to the PC to catch that 0.1 milliseconds opening, unless one is Luke Skywalker - "stay on target". This is one super difficult Clackvent. I'm losing lots of energy already.

Trying to accept this fact as well, woke up to my phone buzzing and tried to get it but just missed it.

See this is something that I don't think Clack really explained. Is it allowed to post more than once in these random chosen winner ones? Because some people have posted many times if the thread is open long enough, which would increase their chances, but I don't know what Clack would think of that :/

No.  Clackman would either throw out all or all but one of their posts.  He's not going to let people game the system like that.

Unless, of course, by my posting this, he does it just to spite me and make me wrong.  -_-

6:16am Rowdy starts closing apps in preparation to put computer to sleep at 6:17am (prior to performing ablutions).

6:16:18am Mr Clackman posts in, and opens, Clackvent thread.

6:16:??am Rowdy receives Tapatalk notification.

6:17:??am Rowdy struggles with stone age computer to open web browser.

6:17:??am Rowdy struggles with third world internet connection to open Clackvent thread.

6:17:11am Mr Clackman locks Clackvent thread.
