I would take a guess and say 3-4 years ago (when the amount of people on GH was much lower) basically anyone who wanted a clack could get one.

Seems legit - could be a dyed case.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Geographically challenged and all I actually agree with noisy on this one. Never won a raffle style draw ever. At least with skill I have some chance :) But since I have never won a CC (either method) I guess it's a pretty moot point :)

Something tells me that is going to go for $400+ easily.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Is the Red Trans Topre cap really rare??   It's at $405 now with 22 hrs left in the bidding??    Wow!!   I'm assuming the Green Darth will go for more?

It's rare at least for GH members.  There weren't any public sales for translucent skulls besides Gummyrots.

But that much money for a single-colored trans skull or weird colored Vader cap is kind of nuts.  I'd much rather have a nice tricolor skull instead.  Or an iPad mini or something else, haha.

If I remember it correctly, someone once traded a 356mini for a red trans Topre skull.

I had a Korean user offer me a 356cl for my Topre Fauxluminum Bro. Had it not been WKL I would have gone for it, I just cant survive without win keys  :))

That's ridiculous.  I'd be so wary of that.

I want to know who the hell is bidding on these. Also, who the hell is this guy selling them? I'd laugh if it was CC himself

I'd be happy if it was him.  It'd be nice for him to get some of the insane profits instead of just the flippers.

I bet it's him or someone close to him. If he's confirming that these are real and they're 1 of 1, it's probably someone with a personal connection.

I don't really care who it is, they're cool and they're real so it's not that big a deal to me.

+1

Everyone BUT him is seeing crazy profits out of them, I'd be happy to see him making some decent cash off them instead of it going to people who've done nothing.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

This is not helping my therapy.

I still haven't gotten over that Fallout Yellow set
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hey, guys, been awhile since I posted away from classifieds. I need some therapy to help me get over the tragic loss of my very first clack, an F2 red topre. It's been nearly a year since I last saw him. Herman was the happiest little fella, lemme tell ya. Every couple of months I turn the place upside down in hopes of finding him somewhere. I lost him during the move to my new apartment and it bothers me like nothing else. Herman, if you're reading this, come back to daddy.  :'(

You will always be my first, Herman. I will never stop searching.

There are more bids on that BS Good Times Green Skull than on the BS Globe Blue Skull. Is the green one more interesting? I think the Globe Blue goes perfect in BS flavour, since it could be like an IBM blue skull!

Those prices are just so stupid. Maybe I'm just salty because I'm a broke college student, but come on people. $400 for a single keycap? I'm all for supporting art and what not but that's insane. I want to know who's buying these but we will probably never actually find out.
