Hows this for therapy, I went to the gym at 11 and forgot to take off my ring, so I put it in a cubby locker there instead of on my keys like I normally do. Realized I left it there at about 115, went up back and its gone, then tore through my office and all my stuff, then walked back to the gym to re-trace my steps. While doing that missed CLACKVENT and lost $800 cool men’s hinged wedding ring. Great day.

Ouch sorry man! I never take mine off when I work out. It doesn't bother me when I wear gloves.

Thanks for the condolences fellas. I don't wear gloves and lift 4-5 days a week. Always take it off and put it on a little clip on my keys, just forgot to do that today on my way out of the office. That's what I get for breaking routines. So unless sometime turns it in I'm out that ring. The next one will be a cheap one, but the sentimental aspect of losing it really makes me sad.
Was just funny nail in the mood when while looking I check my phone and miss  by four minutes lol, insult to injury, would trade back the majority of my collection for that ring back though.

I posted in that thread ---

Oh man that’s so touching. But no no please cancel it.

I went back up to the gym before I left (my fourth visit that day) with a flashlight and found these channels in the front part of the cubbies, just part of the construction. And when I pulled my coat or whatever out the ring had gotten pushed into a channel and fell three stores (of cubbies) and got wedged on a bolt on the inside of the channel between two cubbies. I had my headphones on and didn't hear it I guess.

I just got home from driving and noticed this. Man you are amazing Signature, great community. Please cancel it, or something. I feel terrible now that its going.

I had posted too soon I guess, I should have taken a closer look at the construction. In fact I had gone to just post signs and look again and was walking out to the car and stopped and ran back thinking I had to have been missing something. Ugh what a day. I'm going to go walk my dog quick and hope VENT doesn't pop again while I'm out lol.

Thanks again my friend. I want your address to send you a replacement for the BB.

This is the ring, which is why it was so $$ but I love messing with it.

Don't worry about OT, I think we're all just glad you found it!  :D

Now the rest of the day will be boring.  Unless Clack decides to let more people win.  But that's doubtful.

Although...

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I have completely missed most of the sales, I wasn't sure if I qualified.

0 wins out of something like 6 entries so far.

You're in!

I'm sure I won't be as good of a President as we used to have (I'm still figuring a few things out), but I'm filling a lot of shoes after yesterday, so bear with me!

What I really want to  know is when I'll get my clack.

I'd like an update from CC.

Even if it just says "sorry i'm moving slow it'll be like 6-8 weeks" i'd be cool with that

It's annoying considering he said it would be 10 days.

While I'm in the same boat, I still figured that was an inaccuracy on his part, and mostly expected to not see caps until after this sale run ended.

Hey naasfu, I remember you saying that you received tracking last week. Any chance your clacks have arrived? :)

Doesn't look like CC has shipped them out yet.  The status is still "Shipping Label Created".

I'm cool waiting, but thats just because CC seems like a stand up guy.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

It would probably be the most efficient time wise for him, to ship at the end, and bill-label as it goes. I'm not worried at all. Kind of like the Black PBT group buy, I've paid, I have my winner ticket, they will come in time.
