F how am I supposed to post to that thread if it asks me if I'm sure I want to post with 123123 new replies.....

JUST LET ME POST

you can turn that off in your forum settings
Wish I knew that beforehand... this is the first time I've successfully "tried" to post a reply to that thread. My only post in the thread didn't even count because it was one of the times CC accidentally unlocked the thread........  :'( :'(

I'm never getting a Clack at this rate.

Sigh.

Don't worry, I think most of us didn't find out about that setting until attempting to get into a sale. I think it was a KbK sale that I didn't get into because of this! And we have another few weeks to win still!

I don't think we can get back in after winning one or more clackvent drawings.

It's kinda like a virginity thing :))

I've won but I'm part of the club in spirit after Sunday.  :blank:
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I just got wrecked by "a reply was posted while you were typing" message in the Clack thread.  :( How do you turn this off?

I'm sure many share the sentiment that I couldn't be more impressed with Clack's generosity in this sale, and I'm really enjoying the format. I just hope he's not overworking himself  :))

Couldn't agree with you more. He's giving tons of people a chance to own a Clack and I love the format of this sale. It's just so damn... fun. It's riveting, I can't look away from it, I check the therapy thread like 10x a day and anytime a Tapatalk notification goes off, I freak the **** out. I love it, :))

:))  Of course.  But it doesn't change the fact that I was about to freak out in the middle of a restaurant.  :P

I love how the CLACKVENT posts always manage to induce a little fear into me. My heart always starts racing, I get super nervous, hands quiver a little, right to attention... all because one guy made a post in a thread in GH and I'm hoping I get the chance to reply to him :)). Sounds ridiculous, but tons of fun.

Just now catching up on therapy, got some good reading to do :D.

I'm glad he picked today's topic to be "Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga", I started my day off with some Awesome Mix Vol. 1, so maybe that will give me luck!

I'm high on believing that I might win this time...

But Hoff deserves it.

little bit of ally mcbeal to start the day

Totally gonna admit I did not get that reference and had to go look it up... I was talking about the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack :)). Great song though.

EDIT: Grats RIN3, you deserved it simply for that post content :)

Exactly.  I was out with coworkers, and was wondering how to explain to them what was going on if I did have to frantically try to respond on my phone.  :))

Uhh, I'm scrambling to post in a thread to enter for the chance to buy something.  Yep...   :-[   :p   They would never understand.    :))

Tapatalk never loaded the reply box, just CC's post and then after a refresh all the others came up.  :(

Yea, that's how Tapatalk works for some reason. If you press refresh, it will load in new posts, but it looks like it doesn't actually look to see if the thread has locked/unlocked, so it won't make the reply box show up if Clack has unlocked the thread since you first went there and this refresh. The solution to this is to press back, and revisit the CLACKVENT thread yourself. So, the best way to enter via Tapatalk, is to open it, open the notifications tab, and use that to go back and forth to the thread until it properly opens.

Hope this helps :thumb:.

That's happened to me a few times already :)). Was hanging out after work last Friday, deep in conversation with two other developers, see my PushBullet notification.... I immediately stop what I was talking about, open GH and chain refresh :)). They raised an eyebrow or two.

"Don't ask." All I really said.

But, I get everything shipped to work, so after seeing the recent chain of artisans I've been getting in, I don't think they would have been surprised at all if I told them what I was trying to do :)).

So... who else accidentally clicked the CTRL[ALT] future thread in the Spy page, frantically scrolled down to the bottom, and tried to post there?

Somehow, noticed it wasn't the CLACKVENT thread in time and was able to recover from my mistake (I think my big clue was the fact that the latest posts in that thread were not pure gibberish).  Poor timing for that new post to hit the CA Future thread, :)).
