advice for active participants:

refresh the reply page. this helps in two ways because it reduces the amount of burden you place on the server to load the full post page, while also helping you because it decreases the amount of steps you need to take to post, and decreases overall load time for you as well (easier to display a small box than a page full of mspaint pics).

watch spy. it will likely take a **** as we get deeper into the event and the server struggles to deliver full functionality to the overwhelming amount of users, but for now it's good for at least seeing if clack posts/what the day's info is.

disable post reply notifications. it's almost impossible to participate with this feature left on (but be mindful that you will no longer be notified if someone has posted the same information you're about to reply with on other threads).
-don't listen to first-time cv participants (some of them like to dabble in fake clacks, nice la).
that's really all there is to it. you do that, you'll put yourself in a good position to win (barring some clack ****ery). good luck!
