Question for you guys, it's probably been answered before. I've been trying at these things for months. How the heck are people so fast with these events? I'm using Tapatalk, and refreshing the thread. But on mobile my Tapatak basically locks up with all the notifications from people posting and I'm unable to post from there, but if I turn off notifications then I have no way of knowing when the thread opens. Any tips? Tissues? A garage that I can park my car in and roll the windows down while it runs?

Okay good to know. How do you get around the notifications? Mine are basically alerts that require me to press view or cancel, so I can't actually post because I can't get rid of the windows :/

there are so many messages and someone has probably fielded this question, but those last two openings, did anyone win or was it just to identify who wouldn't win?

I'm sad because I missed out by sleeping, but, on the other hand, I don't think I would have known the answer to any of those since they looked like song lyrics and I suck at that.

Two versions of Tapatalk installed really helps, one for posting (Tapatalk Pro) and one for notifications (Tapatalk Free)

HEY EVERYBODY, READ THIS

advice for active participants:
-refresh the reply page. this helps in two ways because it reduces the amount of burden you place on the server to load the full post page, while also helping you because it decreases the amount of steps you need to take to post, and decreases overall load time for you as well (easier to display a small box than a page full of mspaint pics).
-watch spy. it will likely take a **** as we get deeper into the event and the server struggles to deliver full functionality to the overwhelming amount of users, but for now it's good for at least seeing if clack posts/what the day's info is.
-disable post reply notifications. it's almost impossible to participate with this feature left on (but be mindful that you will no longer be notified if someone has posted the same information you're about to reply with on other threads).
-don't listen to first-time cv participants (some of them like to dabble in fake clacks, nice la).

that's really all there is to it. you do that, you'll put yourself in a good position to win (barring some clack ****ery). good luck!

Thanks Hoff. Question on the reply page you linked: what will it show exactly when the thread is unlocked? Just a reply box? Or his newest comment? Half the trouble for me is actually seeing what CC posted so I can get a reply in.

Question on the reply page you linked: what will it show exactly when the thread is unlocked? Just a reply box? Or his newest comment? Half the trouble for me is actually seeing what CC posted so I can get a reply in.

It will just show the usual reply page.  He's typically been posting the rules ahead of time in which case it's no big deal since you can catch it in spy, but for the quick posts like today it's not as useful.  But then again for the quick ones you wouldn't know to be F5ing anyway so maybe it doesn't matter.

I posted while driving for my win last week. I wish sex was the reason, but I had to go up to work to help with something and wasn't able to even get my phone out from the second post on.
