haha thank you naasfu.  i could not read your long ass post. :)

you guys know that you love dn, so every time i'll put dn into entering for every sale.  over the past month, i've entered every one except for like two of dn (not just days).  if you look at a lot of the other people who've won dn, they've also been entering for nearly every one.  also, it certainly helps that i've had time off for the holidays so i can catch most times when cc pops on dn.

for the two mspaint entries, i basically spent all night working on dn (i'm slow) and got maybe 2 hours of sleep each time.  and for the other contest entries, i really tried my best to be quick since that did make a difference.  with today's RNG, it was just pure wtf luck.

i do have a large collection now, but it's because i love clacks and have been collecting them pretty regularly since i got my first ones.  dn're something i use and enjoy every day.  i don't stuff them away in a box and forget about them.  and i've never gotten bored with them and flipped (sold or traded) them for other things or a different hobby.  i know a few people who've built up nice collections, and i know it's because they've also been very dedicated towards dn.  they're not easy to obtain for sure, so it takes a lot of effort.

try your best and get into dn, and your chances will increase by a huge amount i'm sure.  i'm not good at writing this kind of thing so hopefully i don't sound arrogant, but i just want to stress that it takes a lot of effort to win, and that if you really do put in that effort, you can win dn too. :)

ps.  did dis one 4 da bois

Seeing Geekhack tricolor again would be amazing; I can't imagine the chances of that happening being more than sliver slim, though.

Just hit the even numbers. It wasn’t until the JJ Abrahms movies that they kind of broke the pattern of good/trash/good/trash

Looks like I'm in for a copper txcp but the site it still whacked out for me. It's like it would work every 10 or 20 seconds, and only work for a few seconds at a time. I get 507 error repeatedly, then one 503 and then it would load on the next refresh.

I didn't have an option to pick a weight material or a pcb. Does that mean they're included automatically, or do I need to order them separately?

Yes, definitely an awesome win, and I'm extremely greatful.
Just wish I'd had kept at least one of my Topre boards (even though they're not my favorite switch).

Damnnnnnnnn It.  Was lighting fireworks outside with my kid.

You deserve more than a Clack for this :) So awesome of you for your kid.

Well thank you  :)

I mean you did win tri-shark after all  :p

That's true.  However I entered as soon as I saw the post not realizing it was for Topre.
I was so afraid of missing another one that I entered without reading thoroughly.

Praying someone wants to trade a MX version for my Topre  ;D

Hopefully you can find the trade. Still a dope win though. Maybe you should get a 23u

Yes, definitely an awesome win, and I'm extremely greatful.
Just wish I'd had kept at least one of my Topre boards (even though they're not my favorite switch).
Don't know If I really want to buy another one, but who knows.  We'll see.

Ah okay. Maybe search for deals on used boards.

I'd really prefer not to buy another Topre board, as I would hardly ever use it.
Like I said.  I'm really hoping I can trade for a MX version if possible.

Hopefully you can find the trade then

For those of you who still feel like Clack Happens is "rigged" or whatever, I counted up some numbers/winners. Here's the data we have so far:

53 clacks given so far.
36 winners so far.
The highest number of wins by any single person has been 4 (so far).
The lowest is 1 (ha).
The average number of clacks won per person is 1.47 (what counts as .47 of a clack?  :-\).

One Clack Happens contest had as many as 81 entries.
One Clack Happens contest had as few as 9 entries.
The odds of winning a Clack Happens has ranged anywhere from .02% to 10%

Here are some charts of the winners in both pie and bar chart formats:
[ Specified attachment is not available ]
[ Specified attachment is not available ]
And while it's true that some of us have been luckier than others, I hope if nothing else the numbers show that for the most part, Clackman has tried to be as fair and as random this time around as he can.

Also, can we stop picking on naasfu because he doesn't even have the highest number of clacks won.
  :))
(Also those of you lucky winners who have won multiple clacks wanna spread the love lemme know...)

I tracked the first rednelac and this is way better than just a spread sheet. Yay Colors! Thanks for the info and graph.

I'm going to say maybe the .44 .42 of a clack is the envelope it comes in with a sketch on it.
