There are a lot of shows but i don't have cable. Instead i have netflix and watch whats there.

Normally i switch between shows. I did watch a little of 'Orange is the new Black', Breaking Bad (very dark so i watch is sometimes), Dr.Who, IT Growth... etc...

But i don't watch so much really. Mostly before i go to bed and thats it.

Has anyone started watching 'Under the Dome'? I'm liking it so far. Also for comedy 'Wilfred' is pretty funny. But the regulars I like are
-Walking Dead
-Boardwalk Empire
-Dexter
-Workaholics
-Arrested Development
-The Sopranos

Actually I'm gonna stop because my list would be ridiculously long if I continue. I watch pretty much everything that isn't reality TV.

Under the Dome is looking pretty good, but I'm hoping the writing catches up to the premise.  Plus, that budding "Joffrey" character is getting tiresome.

Yea it just seems highly unlikely that someone would turn psychotic that quickly even in the situation they are in.

I really like OP's selection of shows. Especially Friday Night Lights is such an underrated show. Over here, no one watches or really knows it. To be honest, the whole setting does not appeal to a Dutch audience. Mid America, High school, football. I happened to watch one episode because I recognized the show's main character from that series about a guy who got the paper one day early. After that I was hooked.

Mine would be

Friday Night lights
Game of thrones
Full metal alchemist brotherhood
The Wire
The Sopranos
Twin Peaks
Boardwalk Empire (most people that I know who watched it did not like it. I loved it)
Homeland (more for the female main character than the terrorist plot which I did not find interesting)
Band of brothers

EDIT: Forgot the walking dead. Don't care what people think. Me and my girlfriend LOVED that show.

There are a few more I like, though these are the ones that I thought of now. Will be keeping an eye on this thread since I am always looking for new things to watch.

Ok sorry last post... But how cool is it that some of the wire actors are in Fringe? And Daniels plays himself. I guess he got "demoted" to the fringe division.
And there's and episode of Fringe were the wannabe priest from OZ plays a real priest haha.

I liked it in its early days before the Marshal and Lilly kid came along. It's dragged on too much in my opinion. I've still seen every episode tho cuz dammit I need to know who their mother is! I have a feeling when we do finally know its gonna be anticlimactic :( I still get a good laugh from it here and there.

somewhat surprised nobody's mentioned the IT crowd, my all-time favorite. I could watch it a million times and still laugh.

peep show, too. mark corrigan is the most relatable character on TV.

and firefly, of course...firefly.

and party down. party down is really underrated. it's a shame it only got two seasons, show was hilarious.

also the standard game of thrones/breaking bad/always sunny/dexter/ARCHER!!!/curb your enthusiasm/six feet under/parks and rec/walking dead/etc.

but not seinfeld...definitely not seinfeld. what would make you think I like seinfeld?

Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Angel
Firefly
Battle Star Galactica
Dead Like Me (More so first season, movie was dumb)
Freaks and Geeks
Being Human
MST3k

Would probably hit the main shows that I have seen, don't currently have television service so anything new isn't going to hit my radar much.

I stopped watching TV years ago (too much misinformation and brainwashing manipulative bulls#it is aired). But I really enjoyed The Big Bang Theory (which I initially just watched because people started calling me "Sheldon" and I wanted to knew if it's an insult or something positive... I'm still not sure, but I liked the show!), Breaking Bad (managed to be better than 99% of the movies made today) and of course some classics like StarTrek, Stargate, Married with children, The Simpsons, as well as a lot Anime series (FMA, Deathnote, etc.).

MST3k

Great show, sorely missed.

Rifftrax and Cinema Titanic helps, but just never competes with the charm that MST3k was able to create.

On the TV front, it just doesn't make sense to me to keep paying 70+ US Earth Dollars monthly for a service that I hardly ever used (we have a television that we use on occasion to watch a movie or something, but no cable/satellite service).  I seemed to me that I would watch TV to justify the cost of the service, and it should be the opposite for something you are paying for.  If pay per channel television service was ever offered I might consider changing my position, but that would be a stretch.
