The legends must be darker in order to dye sub so Im afraid white on black isn't an option at this point.

I didn't say that they had to be "dye sub"...  Just PBT.

Currently there is no full set of doubleshot PBT keycaps. Well other then the one posted here, but who knows when thats coming out.

If you're talking about lasered there might be. A quick search and I found this. Might have more luck searching through taobao.

Truthfully, it doesn't even have to be doubleshot - A simple OEM would do.  One of your links led to a black on white set - I'm looking for the opposite.  The Ducky set is out of stock, and a Ducky keycap set on a Filco keyboard doesn't match very well ("F" keys and windowed LED caps are all wrong).  Thanks for trying.

well dyesub, doubleshot, and lasering is out.  So I guess your only options are pad printing or UV(not even sure on this one)?  I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.

The only pad printed white on black PBT caps I can recall seeing are the caps on a black IBM M13... Hmm...

Well, if PBT isn't available, what about POM White on Black 104 sets?

POM is even less available, aside from mostly those POM jelly sets...

It's really strange, the most used keycap color combination, and no one has come up with a decent upgrade replacement set.

It's because PBT is generally seen as a higher quality cap based on cost, and pad printing is a downgrade.

Yet Keycool and noppoo make some nice White on Black POM sets, and they're really not what you would call high-end.

Yeah, POM doesn't seem to be too popular, and seems to be a lower end thing. Shame, because POM isn't too bad.

For the record, I'm not saying I agree with the state of things. I love white on black. I went out of my way to find a black M13 so I could take the caps for another Model M. It's just the way things are...

Perhaps I should go with Signature Plastics Standard Double Shot ABS Sets http://www.keycapsdirect.com/marketplace.php But, it will cost me $60 + $18 for my 104 Filcos.  Never used these...  Any comments?

NO! IF you really want the greatest white on black set, you HAVE to go Cherry doubleshot ABS. They are amazing. The best, literally. Start a WTB on the classifieds, and you can find a set ranging in price depending on what you're willing to spend. I've seen them range from $10 to $150, depending on how new they are and compatibility.

The thing about Cherry WoB sets is you usually need something to make them compatible. Usually, that means an SP moogle. But you can also find people who sell complete Cherry sets that are compatible. If you need more info, you can PM me.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not a lover of the profile.  Perhaps I'll just go with blanks, or Vortex Black on Black dye-subs...  At least the feel will be what I want.
