Shine 3....Need To Slow Down Holding Down Backspace Key
« on: Mon, 26 August 2013, 10:23:06 »
I have a Shine 3 and when I hold the backspace down the cursor is way to fast and deletes way to much. To slow this down, do I adjust USB Repeat Delay Time or USB Repeat Rate?

USB repeat rate; Delay is the amount of time it waits before the repeat begins.

I saw a video showing how to change the repeat rate on the new duckies. I am pretty sure it's a new feature on this keyboard and in the video it could go from very slow to very fast.

I believe it's FN+one of the function keys.

Watch this video :

At like 5 minutes, they show how to program the speed. it's fn + function keys to set either the speed or repeat rate.

FN+F1 and FN+F5 set the repeat rate and delay back from keyboard to OS controlled.
F1-F4 control delay, F5-f8 control repeat rate.
