Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but when do you expect to be able to ship these out?
I work a full time job, and I have a family.

Now JD, we pay you no mind and we ARE your family, don't you forget it either. When we going to get matching GH tattoo's? :p

Technically speaking, every one has family. I take back my comment JD, you're not special. CHOP CHOP, BUDDY.

So when he's 3 are you going to be one of those parents who says he's 36 months old?

I will do what I want, and you would do well to remember that!

Also, by convention you stop using the months thing once they turn 2 years old. :)

I have the girl variety and she decided at 19 months she no longer wishes to sleep in her bed nor does she sleep all night  :thumb:

Thankfully the 5yr old has no issues sleeping, just a bear to wake up to go to school.  :))

And they both love messing with keycaps when I attempt to do anything with them but they both still have issues with putting small things in their mouth so they don't get to help yet  ::)

My 4 year old likes the keyboard that I gave him.

When our newborn gets a little older I might give her a switch tester :)

I gave him a cherry g84, he likes the layout because it's a much smaller board. Tiny keys, low profile, light ML switches. It's funny watching him play Minecraft and other games.

Ask them if they'll just hook it up with a bit more of a discount. How often do they get orders of over 100 pieces?

I was just wanting to get one for now. JDcarpe, PM'ed you. Greystoke, thanks for the offer.

Money is a bit tight, so what I think I may do, is just slowly start gathering parts.  This also has had me kind of eyeing the 65% style.  I figure if I do it that way, I'd later be able to build a 10key as well. I've long used full sized keyboards, and the 60%'s drop too many keys I frequently use. The Race looks like a cool keyboard, but I've been hearing too much about Vortex's iffy build quality to make me want to go that route. The minila makes some weird choices that turns me off. Two function keys and a super small spacebar, plus some funny location of keys. I saw the Steelbeauty and Brownfox, and absolutely love the look of things. There are a few tweaks I'd make to that (move ~ to left of the 1, change Print Screen to a function layer, drop the second winkey, and use the two freed up spaces for page up and page down), but that is easily done.

Replied to your PM.

Also, you might want to check out the Epsilon Keyboard project, made by metalliqaz. He's not making any more, but you could maybe get some idea from there.

Jdcarpe, replied with info! Thanks for pointing out the Epsilon too! Quite a nice looking keyboard.

One idea I had, was to make the case to where I could attach the eventual 10 key. If I do that, I could have the numpad piggyback off the teensy for the keyboard. Question is, do I want to have it to where the 10key bolts on, or just have a cable in between.

I've talked with Matt3o, and he said he'll send me the steelbeauty dxf. I'm trying to decide if I want to track down a set of DSA Retros in brown (I like brown and older computers, I'm a browncoat, and last name is Brown, may want to keep up the theme) or if I want black with pass through keys, for LEDs. Really, at this point, I'm still tossing around ideas.

I'm having a problem with the invoice itself, so I'm just sending you the amount owed, instead of going through the invoice link. Hope that's not an issue.

That's fine. For some reason, Paypal is hosed now that I got all the invoices sent out. I can't even see the invoices anymore. But I know they are out there and working, because some people are able to pay.

However, if for some reason you can't pay the invoice you received, just do like CalmB4tehPwn did and send me the payment directly. It works the same for me, in the end. As long as I have the funds to pay for the Teensy order, I don't care how they get to me. :)

I am having the same problem. The link I got was broken too. Paypal seems to be having troubles with their generated emails.

So I'll send the amount to you, marked as goods, with the invoice code in the message?

Someone should file a complaint about this. I asked their support something a few weeks ago and never got an answer, not even a standardized reply from a sheet of irrelevant answers. They claim to have fast responses and no more than a  few days.

Edit: Dammit, I was going to save post #1000 for a special announcement and was actually saving it but I forgot about that just now.

too late..

I have 2 Teensy adapters paid but you can take my place in line.  I prefer to sell them both as a set for $31.72 USD.  If you paypal me I'll request JD let you take my spot.

This is a last minute decision as someone is going to be selling me their Kmac so it's going to be ramen for the next few months...
