how to add weight to a keyboard

I have a CM quickfire XT at work, and the weight is perfect, heavy enough it won't slide across the desk, but still not too heavy

I'm wanting to add weight to both of my QFR's, since I can easily push them across my desk with my fingers if I try.

Any ideas?

I've had sucess with modeling clay with mice, but not sure if its a good idea to have clay next to a PCB

any ideas?

An aluminium case would definitely do it, though those are expensive and I don't know of any for a full size keyboard. Can't really think of any makeshift weights off the top of my head.

Could you fit a piece big enough to add a noticeable amount of weight under the PCB?

Never seen the insides of an XT but even a thin piece would make a big difference. Lead is very heavy.
If you stuffed a QFR full of lead it'd make a massive difference.

Ripster had a guide showing a way to melt lead over your BBQ grill and pour it into a form made from wood and several layers of aluminum foil.

I don't need it, my keyboard weighs 8.25 pounds.

First off I would not recommend using a grill for melting lead unless said grill has been permanently retired from cooking food.  That being said if anyone wants a piece of lead poured for their case let me know the dimensions.  I have a 5 gallon bucket of wheel weights.  Pm me and we can work something out.
