Released by Hori, its a Topre Keyboard.
I kinda want it...even in the J-Layout lol.

Costs 27,800円 ~$270USD.

Oh and it apparently comes with some ingame items, but who cares about that lol

The legend color reminds me of FC660C, so is it to safe to assume it's lasered and not dye sub?

Another note is that dye sub can only do darker and since it's gold/brown over black so I don't think it's dye sub.

I like the blue backplate though lol.

I don't play FFXI, but that moogle. MOOGLE! I'm a big FF fan so just having this as one would be worth it.

Well I guess FFXIV is probably still an embarrassment for the company still, so might as well celebrate the day when they had a very popular MMO.

don't get me wrong, i love topre, but really whats cool here is the font and the ff theme stuff. whats the legality on doing a GB with a proprietary font like that? obviously you couldn't do doubleshots, but honestly i'd be okay with printed for the FF font and some moogle caps.

What it does is give people more options..it opens up the market for more people to have Topre board..heck, we may even get some actual choices in keycaps if enough people have Topre boards...

From what I've been reading in debates and Topre related posts on GH is that the FC660C is a pretty good board. You make it seem like an awful board. You should complain more on Cherry licensing their stuff or crappy boards. This doesn't seem like a crappy board at all. It is just good advertisement and for fans who really like Final Fantasy. It an also open up to those who have never tried a Topre board.

also it's ugly. also re: fc660c, just buck up and get a hhk, the leopold's layout is asinine and ~~abs caps on topre switches? no thanks.~~

Errrr....the 660C has just as many ABS caps as the HHKB, one. Again, the backlighting on this special Topre board is something that's never been seen before and is a pretty cool feature for just $30 more than a regular RF board. Wouldn't call this a $300 advertisement.
