I'm hanging out for HL3 - I want to find out what happened to Eli!

The original HL is the only game where I really feel at home when I start playing - like the other scientists are passing random comments, but it really feels like you are part of a team.  Almost brings a tear to the eye.

HL2 doesn't quite capture that, but I enjoyed it anyway, and replayed it several times including Ep 1 and 2.

As much as I'd like to talk about HL3, there is nothing more important to me right now than the Night Owl CC lol.  You can't start a topic with a title like that and expect people here to actually talk about HL3.  Especially the day after the drawing ended!   

Out of curiosity, did you get the Topre or MX version?

With the sad loss of hope for many (most) of us in this drawing, having something else to talk about takes the mind off night owls for a while.

So, HL3 with the Source engine, or Source 2 or something else new?

I reckon Source 2, whic his why it is taking so long - developing the game and an engine at the same time.

If they aren't trying to cover it up by saying it is a hoax then that sounds very plausible.  It's been almost a decade since HL2 was released though.  I would think that if they were going to make another game in the series we would have heard a little something more by now.  I know that Starcraft 2 came out a decade after the original, but it wasn't just a whole decade of literally nothing if I recall correctly.
