Okay, so I understand that I did make a small mistake but hate mail :(:



Here is the original image unfiltered

I did make a small mistake with those engravings for the flat-head screws in my recent attempt at making some decent acrylic cases for a couple of people and the GHPad prototyping, and really it was more of a technical/vendor's limitation and error. However since what was done, was done, and I couldn't go back to correct it, besides getting the cases made again with large hole cutouts as I have mentioned, there was no other option. These cases were priced fairly cheap, For $13, you won't be able to get one sq. feet of acrylic in two colors and the bolts including shipping, let alone the complete case. So, I would not be able to get 10 cases cut again out of my pocket, sorry, that is just not possible.

I would also like to add that everything done so far was completely transparent and with discussion.

All my work so far is open source, and users can do whatever they want with it, I am just trying to provide and help as much as I can. I noticed with the acrylic cases, people complained about the bolts sticking out, thus I went for a different approach, and thing like this can take a couple of tries. I did do a prototype, which turned out fairly good, however the production did not match up, really is it my fault?

I'm not making money here, none at all, if anything, I've already paid quite a sum from my pocket for the prototyping and experiments for the various open source cases.

Regarding the comment with bunny (I'm assuming BunnyLake), I don't even know what you mean and are trying to say.

This is the only explanation I am going to give to this anonymous hater, which frankly I shouldn't have.

If anyone else has some issues, please feel free to contact me here or PM. I sincerely do hope that this email was not from anyone that I have made cases for thus far, which is around 6-7 people only apart from those in the GHPad prototyping.

I really do not understand people.

Yeah your still relatively new but few people on this forum take the initiative and actually do anything.

Everybody wants to talk about doing things or if they start to do something they disappear.

People are stupid and that email is proof.

Moz you keep up the good work and if people don't like what your doing then they shouldn't participate.

Man people can get low. And not only can they get low, but if they have a problem, there are better ways of handling it than just sending an hate mail, with racist comments in it...

Exactly, I don't thin he/she has. They just read my comments and went crazy. Everyone that has gotten a case made so far, was well aware of what they were getting into, and that errors would be there.

I stopped making things for others altogether. The amount of crap you will get and people who actively work against you far outnumber the nice guys. I took a few months off GH and since I returned I haven't done things for others in public.

Don't get me wrong, but that isn't the right attitude. You should have some coping method like ignoring those people or public shaming (Like posting their email here) so that those appreciating your efforts can still enjoy your excellent work.

If there's one thing I've learned, people don't like to say things in public around here. I'm actually surprised that this person emailed you, instead of talking behind your back. But then, they did it anonymously, so it doesn't really count.
