I found one false entry because someone probably just wanted to prove a point. Hopefully it was the only one which was quickly verified with a quick PM.

Why: I need money (bills, wife hid some stuff, etc.). Some people didn't follow the rules on my last auction (it was probably my fault I didn't make something clear enough), one person never responded to winning and I gave them several days, and some stuff didn't sell. So here is a new style of auction, the secret bid auction.

How it works: You decide the price you are willing to pay for an item and submit your bid. You only bid on an item once and pennies count. If someone outbids you they win. This stops unfair last second edited posts, eliminates snipes, and doesn't promote bidding wars in the final minutes of the auction up to ridiculously overpriced levels (in theory only slightly overpriced). All bids will be revealed at the end of the auction, and should anyone choose to withdraw their bid it will go to the next below them. I am setting minimum prices on items to recoup what value I put into said items. If you have an item I want for trade and we come to an agreement then traded item will be removed from the auction.

Winners will be invoiced through PayPal with the applicable fees and shipping/insurance decided upon via personal messages. I am not opposed to shipping internationally but the buyer needs to be aware that international shipping is not cheap. If a buyer doesn't want insurance I am not responsible for what happens to the package in transit.

LZ-GH (no key caps): Starts at $450 - MX Blacks or MX Browns at no charge, if you want MX Clears $25 on top of winning bid and if you want additional lubing or stickers we will discuss. It is lubed/stickered and I can add LEDs to it as well


SoWaRe: Starts at $130


Korean Graphite/Blue: Starts at $180 - Also comes with 7x spacebar, 1.5x mods, and stepped caps lock


Red Alert V1 Bro bot: Starts at $120


Neon green translucent V1 Bro bot-not my picture but the one all the way on the left: Starts at $35

My hope is that items that are controversial will end up being traded instead of sold at high prices, and the rest will sell at what they are worth instead of overpriced. This thread should be for asking questions about the items and potentially for a daily bump but besides that all bids go into the google document so not much to talk about here. Thread crapping is frowned upon.

Good question. When Computer-Lab in Basement tells me he didn't place that bid it goes to the next person beneath him. The system sort of self corrects in that case. Maybe the same name shows up twice and the real bid should be easily discernible.

Edit: Also don't forget every penny counts. $40.01 beats $40 no matter who was first. I'm expecting to see a lot of weird bids (or at least hoping for it)

If you add a e-mail address field or something like that to deter duplicates. But then people with no lives could look up other peoples e-mails and submit for them..

I thought about that but I didn't want to needlessly collect email addresses of people who will not win, and it also makes posting the results easier. Additionally I know a lot of geekhacker email addresses because of the toxic group buy

It is called orangsickle. There are also sets of wasd and arrow cluster blanks, 4 caps each, of which the other 3 of the same color are probably part of. Ladtly, there are also esc blanks in the same color.

Sorry thought I got to all of them. There was a lot of PMing that night. Mostly I got hybrid metal bro bots. It will be interesting for people to see the bids when the time comes for the big reveal. For the most part mission accomplished so far though to not actually sell CCs at high prices. Those are the only items I have received attempted trade snipes on
