Why don't people want alpha keys to be alpha colors? The only reason I can think of is for 60% boards. Anything else just looks......weird

I really only think this is the case with 60% where everything is truly framed. Otherwise the traditional layout of alphas only looks better. Cherry was on to something when they made their sets that way. Would be interesting to find out why they made F1-F4 and F9-F12 match the alphas where WYSE just has all the F keys the same color as the modifiers.

Exactly this.  Some people like symmetry (I'm one of them) and others like the traditional alpha/mod color break.  If we followed the alpha/mod logic, one of the bottom row 1x caps in tsangans would have to be the same color as the alphas, not the the matching mod color it usually is.  It's why I like it when group buys include both so you can choose your preference.

Yeah, I love the approach of this GB. And it's still cheaper than most of the GBs that split their orders into 4+ separate sets, because everyone contributes to all the keys.

I am not a biggest fan of the non-symmetrical look, but I'll probably place an order anyway if my funds allow it
