As a buckling spring user, I'm so used to the idea of dyesub PBTs going for 20-30, I can't ever imagine myself buying Imsto Cherry dyesubs or Topre dyesubs.

methinks topre users ought to get together and pay for Imsto to build some topre moulds. If unicomp can make money selling dyesubs for $25, I see no reason why Topre can't make money selling its dyesubs for $50. When you consider that Topre keycaps are roughly half the price of Topre keyboards at EK, EK's margin is probably pretty high on keycaps.

Maybe like some businesses, they sell the keyboards for a modest markup, and make the serious dough selling keycaps and peripherals like keychains.

There is a separate Topre version, but Topre has put keycap manufacturing on hold, so it may not see the light of day.

I noticed, and I'm not even a crazy topre fan.

Well the thought of blanks not being made either 1. For a while or 2. Forever, either way scared me. So I ordered orange blanks!   the pinks are twice as cheap though!

"Topre has stopped production of additional keycap sets. So, most likely they will not be available again."

I ended up snatching up a set of orange keycaps, and they'll arrive later this week.  I would still like a set of white or blue printed keycaps, but I am doubtful that I'll be able to get those without paying an arm and a leg for shipping via a proxy...

Mine wasn't that expensive but man do they package it well! My HHKB felt SO secure when it arrived. If only everyone packaged keyboards that nice.

Probably because they are packaged very nicely in a big cardboard box, and you are paying for the size of the box rather than just the weight of the keycaps.

Same with the coloured pad-printed MX keycaps - $85 or something shipped in the plastic display case, but a GH member shipped me just the keycaps for a fraction of the price (and kept the display case for himself).
