cheap 1390131
« on: Sat, 30 November 2013, 12:20:53 »
I bid on this just to make sure it didn't sneak by, but since I already got two M's this holiday season, I don't really need another.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/111224160085

Ofcourse the 131 is more desirable than the lexmark and IBM 401's I have, so this is a pretty good deal.

Current bid (mine) is $15 and shipping from stockton is $12.80.

Ctrl and F5 keycaps are missing, but easily replaceable with spares from unicomp (or me, I think I have spares of those.)

1 hour left.

Darn it.  I have been watching this all week and I was going to bid on it, but I was outside doing yardwork.  Oh well, I am focusing on acquiring Model F's, anyways.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Wow. $16.50 for one of these is a steal.

Well, looks like I won it. Not that I mind. I always appreciate good deals on good IBM hardware.

I'll be bolt modding this, replacing the missing keycaps, and selling it to a worthy GH'er. Same with a few of the other good M deals I got.

Quite commendable! I was out of town most of the week, and did not keep track of ebay. I love the 1390131, it is my favorite.

When I find a really cheap 1390120 I will get it to do a ghetto SSK mod.

They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

I just bought one of these from a different seller for $40 shipped. I was also the only bidder. But, dammit, you got a better deal than I did! ;D
