[WTT] *traded* Mad Catz M.O.U.S. 9
« on: Thu, 05 December 2013, 17:14:59 »
Selling/Trading

Nothing at the moment.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sold/Traded

I have decided to trade my Mad Catz M.O.U.S. 9 that I just got for Christmas. I know, I know, I change my mind way too much, but I can be very picky about my peripherals.  Now that I have my dream keyboard, my itch for trying out computer peripherals has slowly shifted to mice.  However, here's the kicker, the box somehow got thrown away with the mounds of trash that was the aftermath of my family opening presents.... or that is what I think happened anyway. All I know is I can't find the darned thing and I am not jumping into my apartment complex's five foot tall dumper to try and find it, no siree.  Anyway, I still have what is important in the mouse and dongle.  It works as expected and still looks new.  Why am I trading it you might ask?  Well, I am a creature of comfort... too much sometimes.  I have always liked Logitech's mice and have grown accustomed to the feel of m705 over the past three years or so.  So, I am proposing a trade for a Logitech G500s (like new to new) with maybe cash on your end for just the shipping.  Hopefully someone who took advantage of the recent $39.99 deal last week has one to trade.  Anywho, I am proposing a trade first, but will sell it if a trade doesn't come through... just not sure what to ask for it without the box.

I am selling a Mad Catz R.A.T. M wireless gaming mouse in mat black.  It is a really nice mouse and tracks very well on my Destructor 2.  I have only used it for about a day on my end and my friend used it for a couple of days from who I bought it from.  It has been used very lightly in both cases.  The reason for selling is that I got a M.O.U.S 9 and like the feel and set 990 DPI a little better.  This mouse has a DPI of 6400 and is best served for people who like to use a higher DPI setting.  It has a really nice 5 mode button on the left side that can be set to various functions (I used it for volume up/down, prev/next track and a show desktop button).  Below the scroll wheel is a on-the-fly DPI switcher, in which both modes can be set the anything you like in the Mad Catz software.  The software is very easy to use and has the ability to set different profiles that can be used for specific games when they are launched.  It also has a handy button next to the left click and , of course, forward and back buttons.  It will come with the box and accessories as well.

Here's a link to a comprehensive review: http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1000461/Mad-Catz-R.A.T.M-Gaming-Mouse-Review/0#axzz2oWCXjMGI

I am asking $65 shipped (U.S. only).

I just got a Razer Naga Hex in green a few days ago and can't get used to the layout.  It is like new condition, with a little amount of superficial wear on the teflon feet... basically the kind of wear that happens to any mouse when you first start using it.  It will come with the box and accessories as well.  Also, I will include a Razer mouse bungee that I only had for a couple of days.

I am asking $50 shipped for the mouse and bungee (U.S. only).

I am listing my EVGA GTX 780 classified again.  I had a buyer on craigslist but he backed out, unfortunately.  I also had a Steam and Origin account listed with it, but I realize that might not be for everyone.  As a result, I am lowering the price of the card.

It has been a beast for the month I had it.  It comes with about 2 years 11 months of warranty on it, which is transferable.  It will come with the original box and accessories as well.

I am asking $440 shipped within the U.S..  If you happen to live in the Denver, CO area, and want to buy it in person, I will give you an even better deal.

I am looking to trade my Topre drunken skull for a gray Topre skull.  I am a little boring when it comes to color matching and would prefer something a little more subtle, but equally as awesome.  Hope to keep it within the U.S. for now to save on shipping, but will still entertain international offers later.

Would you sell just the 780?

If you mean without the games... possibly.  I know the Origin and Steam accounts aren't going to appeal to everyone, but I would rather bundle them together with the card at this point.  Also, $500 might be at the high end of a used one of these (not outlandish by any means though), but I was hoping the games would help me sell it at that price.  That being said, I would rather not lower the price of the card if someone doesn't want the games.

It looks like my integrated graphics on my cpu just won't cut it with my other everyday computing needs.  So, I will take offers if you have a low end gpu that you want to trade towards the price of my 780... a gtx 650 or a 560 (ti) type of card would suffice.

Thanks for the kind words.  :)

The 780 was sold on craigslist.  I needed it gone quickly, so I am glad someone took it off my hands.  I added a Topre drunken skull for trade.

Are you in the U.S.?  I will probably have to ship it out in a medium flat rate box due to the size of the naga's box, so U.S. shipping is the only practical option.  I never heard of Shogun Bros, but that Ballista looks like a nice shape and has good reviews.  Consider it a deal for the Mk1 if you are indeed in the U.S..

I'll take a look for you also, I actually knew the UK's only distrubutor personally, he actually found the guys making it over in Taiwan through contacts and started getting it out there, which is why the keybnoard isn't well known. Called the CrossBlade. But yeah its an itneresting mouse and sensor placements pretty awesome.

Yeah, the shape is similar to my Logitech m705 that I have had forever and is getting long in the tooth.  I have tried out a few mice, with a Mad Catz R.A.T M coming to me later this week.  Probably time to stop using wireless though, so seeing what corded options are out there.  I no longer game that much, but wanted something with well laid out buttons and a similar shape to the m705 and the Mk1 fits the bill.  It looks like it is available on Amazon.com for a reasonable price too.

Great deal for the Rat M , just got one for Xmas. Getting some mouse lag using the usb dongle, but when I connect to blue tooth it works perfectly. However I am yet to update the drivers so my usb issue might be resolved already. Great price since these are $100+ on amazon

Yeah, I read about the lag, but it didn't seem to be an issue with me.  Of course, I only used it for about a day.  This mouse is best suited for people who are mobile gamers and have Bluetooth 4.0 (this mouse isn't backwards compatible with pervious versions of Bluetooth) already on their laptops.  Does your laptop/desktop have integrated Bluetooth 4.0?  Maybe the lag is just a usb interface problem with the dongle, which is quite possible when adding another step in connection.

I was, but decided to give the R.A.T. M a go first.  I still prefer wireless mice with good battery life due to my slight OCD about cords.  I got the M.O.U.S. 9 as a Christmas gift, which suits my needs best for right now.
