I'm curious why the bottom row is incompatible with MX--for future reference.

If I am not mistaken, only the POM ones are incompatible. The ABS keys do not have off center stems but of course, the menu and windows keys should be pad printed.
I rrrove brrracks.

ALL 1.25 bottom row G81 use the same keycap design with offset, none of them are any good with MX keyboard. It doesn't matter which plastic at all, all same.

G81 have MY switch. It's not very nice feeling switch, these are mostly good for getting doubleshots only to put on MX keyboard.

I have got one G81-8008, and the Space Bar was actually MX-compatible. I had not expected that. YMMV.

One of the WoB sets I have came with this crap. Totally crushed my hopes when I finally figured out why this wasn't fitting on my board. Total WTF moment there...
