When someone receives a windfall of a huge amount of cash, they don't spend it, they invest it. At that point, they no longer have to work for money - their money works for them. They can probably live comfortably off the dividends of their wise investments, without the expenditure of the original sum.

When it comes to investments, more risk = greater potential reward, but with the caveat that the original asset may be lost, if there is a downturn. That's why you diversify your investment portfolio, with investments of varying degrees of risk.
FYI, keyboards probably aren't a great investment opportunity. Keyboard manufacturing could be, at least in the short term.
As to the original question, get a custom tuned keyboard. Metal housing, individually selected switches, etc.
