[LoL] GeekHack Showdown

The Showdown map has recently been launched for League of Legends.  It is 1v1 or 2v2 and basically is the ARAM map with rules; 1v1 - First kill wins, 2v2 - 2 kills or 100 minions or 1 tower.  Games usually last about 10 minutes or so...

For now lets just get people playing each other and tracking it and then we can start to figure out a rating system and then maybe a little 'king-of-the-showdown' style event.

How it works:
 - You will need to sign up so other players can find you in game.
 - To find other players, checkout who has signed up and add them in game.
 - I would recommend you create a 'GeekHack' folder in LoL so you can easily see who is online.
 - When you see another GHer online, you can challenge them (just chat with them to organize).
 - After the game one of you will be responsible for entering the result of the game.  Lets try to have the winners do this unless otherwise decided in chat.
 - You can view the recent games and hopefully I will be able to get an algorithm to calculate ranking together soon.

Alright, I think I have the basics setup.  Now I am going to go play some LoL, which is what I was planning to do when I originally sat down.  The showdowns are fast fun games.

Ya, we could do that.  Lots of options.  I think the first step is to get an entry in so we can start tracking name pairings so we can find each other.

The showdown was just a way to start figuring out some of the logistics.

For now we can color code teams. I can give other people access to the response sheets to make logistics easier as well.

I'd like to try help make this more active, if you can get a new post, and get it set up for more people, it would be quite nice to run this with a prize included (:  *That's me suggesting for maybe a future GH event, I can provide maybe some keys, a keyboard itself or a mouse/headset. Depends what I have at the time (:
