Anybody in the northern climes knows what I am talking about.  But here is the real kicker.  The nimrods that took my spot are the same idiots that spent two hours the other night burning rubber at high RPMs because they are too lazy to dig out the proper amount of snow and understand the principle of gently rocking the car back and forth.  I just knew I would see their vehicle parked in my spot when I got home.

Meanwhile, I had to force my car into some spot that will surely get me stuck in the morning.  I probably will spend the evening digging out some more spots.

I want to leave a note on their car and invite them over for a chat.

I heard something similar where a lady got shot for taking someone's dug out spot.

Smash windshield and fill inside with snow then add some buckets of water to that  :thumb:
If you're not quite that mean spirited, just pouring some buckets of water over the outside every few hours to build up a nice ice shell is also good.

They will still need to remove 1cm of ice to be able to see out while driving :))

Put that water where you fill the gas. It won't open when he does not expect it and won't know it's you unless he goes to the gas station directly!

If it is below freezing then you should take a bucket of water and dump it on his windshield every 20 minutes for the next 4 hours.  In the morning it will take him as long to remove the ice from his windshield as it took you to shovel the spot.  :)

Surprised nobody suggested the idea of shoving down something small and solid through the muffler then filling the muffler with water. An age old trick when done properly can work great. Then there is always thermite based on home-made receipes when placed on engine bonnet near the engine block is enough to make anyone cry when they notice a hole that went through their bonnet and engine. It virtually makes the car useless.

On the lesser side of evil things, it really depends on where you park your car I suppose. If it is on your property, you should have some rights to put up a sign that says it is reserved, etc. On public roads, this is where the whole thing gets tricky.

Wow, you guys are mean. I'd go with the OP's "note and chat" rather than destroying property or layering their car in ice.

Not a nice thing to happen, but it's not uncommon. Reminds me of this:

If you actually think that a "note and chat" is what it would be?  Because there is so much snow you could 'theoretically' shoot someone in a blizzard and then shove their bodies into the boot of their car.  You wait till the snow melts and then drive their car out to a dumping ground far away from your place.

When there, simply light the car up and all possible dna evidence will burn with the heat..... simple way to eliminate any problematic neighbour(s)  :thumb: .

As long as there are no CCTVs recording you anywhere near the car.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Great news!  I got my car out of the spot this morning without a problem.  So I'm not nearly as mad.

But my neighbors are still idiots, so I can't wait to see what they have up their sleeve next.

If your neighbors are idiots I would advise you not to do anything. Don't get idiots worked up; bad things can happen. Idiots will do even more idiotic things in revenge (such as using thermite on your car, shooting you, etc.).

We have too many cop shows though, local police might catch on to this nefarious plot because of some synthetic polyester strand left behind at the crime scene. DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN. OR they might have a mentalist... *queue theme song*

What? When you commit crimes you don't do it in a clean suit with reflective face shield to avoid leaving trace evidence and hide identity, wearing a magneto helmet to keep out the mind readers?

Nope, I only commit crimes of passion  :))
Premeditated crimes require too much planning and after all that planning the passion has worn off already.

Not much.  A foot.   But a foot in this town shuts everything down for a couple days.  The city does not have the equipment to handle that much snow.

That is why when there is a vicious blizzard with -40 no one will question anyone about wearing gear that resembles thick, heavy coats, or face shields, especially at night.  Plus very few people ever venture out in the dead of night, hence even less eye witnesses.  Trust me the police are given too much credit (due to fantasy shows on TV) because most of their cases are solved through witness statements and CCTV.  Eliminate those obstacles (including no dna/fingerprints) and they have nothing.

All you will see from the police is a desperate plea on TV asking for anyone to dob in their relatives and/or friends for a chance of receiving a reward.  That is when you know the police have absolutely nothing to go on.

You guys have it made in the US now, can you imagine what can be seriously done due to this type of amazing weather?  Here in Australia it's sweltering hot and every person and his dog is out on their front porch watching everything and everyone even at night.... much too risky in a built up area, ........far better in the bush.

Wow, you're all evil. I like it.

You can go get a car battery and open and 'accidently' spill some battery acid on his or her car.
Sugar in gas tank, potato in muffler, cloth soaked in water that would be shoved into muffler. It will freeze and expand.
Slash tires, key his car car. Grab snow and dump it on his car so that he can't see the car.
