I 2nd the annoyance of trying to figure out what was still in stock... each color needs to be its own item IMO
There's a fundamental flaw with blaming the site for not knowing what was in stock. At the time you moved to each item on the list if it said "in stock" it was in stock. If the item was bought before you could add it to cart... then it becomes out of stock. There's probably a way to have it notify you if an item sold while you were looking at it, but not with my budget and coding experience.
When I listed each item individually the same thing would happen... people would add the items to their cart, navigate around, and then go to check out and the item would be out of stock...
I just did a live test-- if an item sold while you were viewing the color selection page the item does change to "Out of Stock" if you were to switch to that item but only AFTER the item sold.
Gosh-- I feel terrible people who really wanted some of these items didn't get any, but I also think this is leagues better than Gator attacks and longer page load times. Usually my sales have favored the USA by a landslide, but this time I have a bunch of international buyers. Those sales that were made timely with low load times, and efficient checkout handling. The only thing I can really do is make more caps! I will do my best Lu_e
* Binge thumbs up!
