David (Ragnorock)I will be giving away packs of MX Magnets which are a fun little thing you can use to stick keycaps to metal surfaces. These are all made by me of an MY stem, a magnet, and some epoxy. By my calculations these things are capable of holding 300g+ of keycap, which is more than enough for even the Gold BroBot (heaviest cap I have on hand).
Onto the giveaway part, this is how it's going to work, I plan on making ~200 of these and giving out probably 150 or so in packs of 5. There are 2 ways to get a pack, the first way to get guaranteed a pack is to donate a minimum of $5 to geekhack, I'm limiting this to the first 20 people who do it, so it's very much first come, first serve (limit one pack per person/donation). The second way to get a pack is to just simply post below and I'll randomly draw a few winners with the magnets left over after the donation giveaway. I'll let this run for around a week or so before pulling some winners.
