I guess I should I finally do an obligatory new member post.

I first discovered mechanical keyboards when I stumbled upon a Wikipedia article about the IBM Model M board. And we all know what happens when you start leisurely reading on Wikipedia. That led to reading about buckling springs, which led me to youtube videos, which led me to videos of Cherry MX boards, which resulted in me owning a Das S Pro with MX blue switches a few months later. I was satisfied for a while... until Topre came into my life.
For any of you geekhackers who posted youtube videos of the HHKB, RealForce, and Leopold fc660c, you are the reason I'm here - and with less money in my wallet, but happy nonetheless.
