Hello GH! This is a little mod I did a while ago. My previous blu-ray player had an pre-attached powercable and that is something I find really annoying. so I modded it so it would have an iec 60320 c14 power connector instead.
Before the mod(I know to image quality is bad):
I used a power cable (with extra shielding) and solder it to the powersuply. I then routed to cable internally and tied it in place with zip-ties and zip-tie anchors. This is the finished result:
