Thrift shop finds! Need help identifying.

I found these two guys at a used electronic store for $3 each today. The first is a Dell AT101W with black ALPS, while the second is a Packard Bell which I don't know the type of switch.

The PB has a tactile bump and then a click on the release.

I think I'd have to agree. It does look like the Cherry MX mount variant.

I think I'd have to agree. It does look like the Cherry MX mount variant.

I don't think it's cherry MX mount, it looks like the inverse of that. (I was going to say inverse cross, but inverse cross is an SMK switch)

Wait you're right. I only quickly glanced at it and thought it had a cross.

Also; I opened it up and the switches were plate mounted if anybody cares to know.

Oh also, it has the little rubber plug on the back that says "AT Only" next to it, and there are two little switches under it. Never had a board with this, anybody know what it is?

Usually switches like that change it between AT and XT signalling (they use the same connector). I guess they picked AT only for this KB.

This is definitely Futaba clicky switches. Personally I’m not a fan. Those keycaps look double injection molded (albeit shiny) though, so there’s something.
