Possible Filco TKL Modifications

Hi everybody,

I was wondering what mods are there that I could do to my Filco Majestouch II Ninja.

So far all Ive really done is change the keycaps to those side-printed white PBT keycaps, the Nickel NERV, Mario and Luigi Logos, and White/Orange Nuclear key.

So any suggestions?

You could:

• Paint the case top
• Desolder all the switches and replace the stock switch plate with a Universal TKL plate (allows for easy switch opening for mods; probably have to wait for another group buy round)
• Lube your switches with Krytox
• Replace stock switch springs with replacement Korean springs
• Add o-rings under the keycaps to reduce travel and/or bottom-out impact
• Replace the stock controller daughterboard with a Pegasus Hoof programmable replacement controller board.

Those are a few things you could do, depending on your comfort level with modding keyboards.

Well I wanted to:

- make the usb cord separatable  from the keyboard
- Change the switches to Cherry MX Dark Greys or 80g springs
- Change the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock LEDs to either White or Purple LEDs
- Do that center stem mod on my stepped caps lock keycap
- Switch from Costar stabilizers to Cherry Plate-Mounted Stabilizers
- Dye my keycaps, and paint the case top (orange, grey, white colour scheme)

oh and give it spinners and neon as well.

But besides that, what else is possible?

How about adding neon backlighting and adding 8 port USB hub (thinking out loud )
