Hello,
while I would love to design a PCB, I don't really know enough about designing electronics. I do have a teensy, and a million switches, and some acrylic plates.
I am fine with how to put that lot together phyiscally, in the real world - but I have absolutely zero idea of how I am going to get a firmware on my teensy that will make all the bits I put together a keyboard.
Is it literally just a case of editting the TMK firmware to the specifics of your keyboard/matrix and then editing the layout that way? Is that easily enough done?
I have messed about with lots of custom boards, firmwares, programming said boards etc. but don't really know how to apply that to doing my own board, from the ground up, if that makes any sense....
Any pointers welcome, I do intend on making a pcb at some point - I just need to learn a bit more/have a bit more time on my hands before I undertake that.
Thanks
