Filco Majestouch Tenkey Pad not working in Arch Linux..
« on: Mon, 28 April 2014, 20:16:08 »
Hey Geekhack,

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this issue.

When I plug in the tenkey pad it works fine, (Home, End, Pg Dn, etc.) but when I turn on Numlock and try to start entering numbers it appears to lock up and stop responding. Unplugging it and pluging it in again get it back to normal, but again as soon as I go to do number entry it freezes up after inputing 1 or 2 numbers. Searching Google came up with a post on the askubuntu website and apparently the guy who was having the issue just upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04 and his problem was solved, I'm using Arch Linux however.

Just wondering if anyone had any fixes for this. Is there maybe a driver I'm missing?

Thanks all

I'm having the same issue with Debian on the testing branch.
I suspect a problem in the kernel, but haven't had time to debug it yet.

Linux 3.13-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.13.10-1 (2014-04-15) x86_64 GNU/Linux
