Does it still not work when you put the space bar back on?

From the photos, everything looks OK — the space bar seems to have just come off at one end and needs putting back on again.

Admittedly, it's a faff putting those back together, which is one reason I prefer Cherry stabilisers. The ends of the wire go into the plastic inserts at each end of the keycap, and you just swing it down and press the keycap back onto the switch.

Good practice for when you inevitably get into keycap replacement …

FYI a $3 tube of silicone grease makes the choc mini (and costar stabilizers everywhere) endlessly better.  And you'd only be using 1/10 of that tube.

You mean it gets rid of the clang? It can only be "endlessly" better if it also makes it easy to get keycaps on and off.

Choc mini spacebar's are pretty rattley.  Rattly?
