Using TEX TKL aluminum case with KUL ES-87?

As asked in thread title, will the TEX TKL aluminum case fit correctly on the KUL ES-87?  Has anyone tried it before? 

I've posted this question a few different places, and I haven't gotten an answer yet.  I emailed MechanicalKeyboards.com, because they carry both of the items, but they have told me that checking would mean they'd have to open up the keyboard and thus void the warranty, which they aren't will to do.

afaik it won't since KUL doesn't have filco mounting holes

Unfortunately, looks like they have different mounting holes.

I thought those cases hold the plate between the top & bottom of the case, not needing standoffs in the lower section? The pcb is suspended by the plate only like the Vortex cases they sold before, the mounting holes aren't used. As long as the plate is the same dimensions as a Filco it might work.

I can't prove this with numbers, but just looking at the PCB's it looks like the KUL has more width.

the KUL is certainly bigger than a filco, yes

and if the pictures are accurate, that would make the PCB/plate bigger as well.
