Not at all. I was simply illustrating that something personal has much more meaning than something that isn't personal. If I were dating a celebrity and they were on location somewhere, and I asked them to send me a pic of themselves (and no, it doesn't have to be a nude shot), I would be a little disappointed of they sent me an image from a Maxim shoot. I mean, I could just go online and find THAT myself.  There should be context for the moment. If she's in a picturesque locale, I'd like to see a shot of her in that locale.

It would depend on the contract if it were a professional photography job. I believe that personal images are covered under reasonable expectations of ownership. In other words, in many cases, a person cannot profit off the images or likeness of another person without the express consent of the person whose image it is, or their estate (in the case of the deceased).

Hacking into someone's phone account and posting nude images of them without their permission is quite illegal, and the last guy that did this to celebrities is currently serving prison time.

Would I ask for nude pics or send **** pics? No. But there is a certain thrill and mutual trust in sending one or receiving it from someone.
