You never sent the tracking via PM.  I was going through the Google doc and didn't spot it at first.  It's a lot of data, so just chill out, mistakes happen.

That is incorrect, it was shown that PM was indeed replied.

You replied to the PM, you did not provide tracking in the PM.  I can post the PM chain if you so desire.  Again, chill out, mistakes happen.

Then I don't know what happened to the PM. The post office was the first thing I went to on Monday (29th) morning since Post wasn't open on 24th until 29th, and it was the first thing to PM you as soon as I get home for post office. Thanks.

Just an update, I talked to lekashman and he got his gift.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Thanks man.  I was really hoping he would be more active in the thread and the community and update it when he got it.  I guess next round Massdrop and any other corporate people (other than CM Carter) will be out.

Don't worry, you'll be getting something.  I'll make it happen if your person doesn't come through.

And there will be a few people who won't be allowed to do it next year should I be the one to run it again.

Nubs and Frosty,  I'm gonna drive down to my old place one final time on Monday as well as doing what Swill suggested. Fingers crossed. I'm hoping it'll still magically show up at my new place. I'll keep you guys updated.

Oh man, I really hope it shows.  I feel bad that you were over the top generous  with me, while you are gift-less.  By the way, I am super stoked on the gifts from you.  I just rebuilt my main rig onto a custom test bench and installed the new card.  It is awesomely silent and blows through the games I play (SC2/Diablo/Borderlands series).  I love it.

Also, I took some pics of the drive I went on yesterday through the hills of DeLuz.  Dampachi joined me, but had to be relegated to the front seat since he kept sliding across the dash.

And a quick pic of my new setup.  It looks kinda odd to me having an ITX mobo hanging out on top of a full size test bench with a huge gpu hanging over the front, but it works and is nearly silent sitting 3 feet from my head.   :thumb:

Should not have read who my santa is...
Dear Hoffman;

You've been a good boy this past year and you should have been rewarded for that in a timely manner. I apologize on behalf of the ****ty parcel service involved in my procurement of your gift item. I can only assume they were experiencing a higher than normal volume of traffic at that time. I hope you like it. It's been travelling across North America since early November.

Your beloved: Santa

P.S.  Ho Ho Ho.

I'm just glad you liked the gifts.  Awesome Fit, too.  I actually really love that car.  I've driven a few of them that have been stripped down, welded cages, boosted, etc.  They're insanely fun to toss around on the track. :thumb:  There was supposed to be more to your gift.  I had ordered a few of those new Noctua 80mm fans that just came out but they got shipped way late.  I was afraid I wouldn't get your package out in time so I just shipped it early.  I had remembered reading that you were into itx as well and well, I'm sure you know how bad temps can get in small cases.  Now that the Santas have been revealed, I'll toss them in a box and ship 'em out.

Nooooo no no no no no no.  Please, don't.  I appreciate the generosity but it was totally my **** up.  I wasn't quick enough on the draw with updating my address.  It was a really hectic time for me and I wasn't on top of things.  This is pretty much all my fault, save for the crappy treatment from my old complex.  Seriously, though.  I'd feel awful if you got me something else. :(

Here is his normal spot:
(Attachment Link)

And a quick pic of my new setup.  It looks kinda odd to me having an ITX mobo hanging out on top of a full size test bench with a huge gpu hanging over the front, but it works and is nearly silent sitting 3 feet from my head.   :thumb:

Link to a quick build log I did for it:  http://www.overclock.net/t/1533291/partial-case-mod-a-badwrench-take-on-a-syrillian-test-bench#post_23353521

Thank you again Sent for the generosity and thought that you put into my gift, it really did make for a wonderful Christmas.  I hope you had a great holiday too (other than the obvious SS issues).

Now that Santas have been revealed..
Sent, I am going to work on getting you something else. I am really sorry about forgetting about your move.  :'(

There is really no need to send me even more.  I already feel spoiled by you and am completely blown away.

As far as the Fit, I really love my car.  I originally bought it as a gas mileage commuter, but still wanted something fun to drive.  As parts have worn out, they have been replaced with performance parts.
wut. i'd buy a ****ty IBM board for that green V2

It appears that terrpn's gift has arrived!  Rejoice!

Sent, hit me up.  I know you said you didn't want anything new, but I want to make something happen for you so that you don't get left out in the cold.  I know your secret santa is bummed and I'm bummed too.

Can I say successful secret santa now?

Mandolin's is scheduled to be delivered any day now, so I think so.  Sorry mine had to be the last gift left floating around.

I seem to remember you did ship it within the timeline, the post office just messed up.  I don't think we can fault you on that.  We still have one in the works and a few in transit, but this was the last one I know of that tracking wasn't working on.  Now all the tracked packages should have arrived.  Hopefully everyone posts pictures, it's always great to see what people sent.

Thanks Lingj! Mind giving me the name of the grape candy you sent? It was delicious.

No problem! Glad you like the stuff. the grape candy is Meiji Kaju gummy. You can sometimes find them in Chinese grocery stores/Asian markets and they come in little packages stringed together with assorted fruits.

I received a package today from the lovely YoungMichael88.  :)  Here is how opening it went:

Pillow and magazine!  Must be some dummy thing he wrote so I wouldn't know.

It even came with a little fake jewel?  Okay...

That gift is ****ing hillarious Hoff.  Maxi-Pad, tampon, and Cosmo.  Did you open them to make sure they are actually feminine hygiene products and not further screwing with you?

In terms of humor, I think you won this round.

Ahhhh yes. I put that fake jewel on there. It was the one and only one I had left from previous wrapping jobs for family! I picked out the tinkerbell wrapping paper just for you, Hoff!! That Cosmo magazine cost me about $7 tho so you had better get some useful tips out of there Grrrrlllfriend!!!  Wasn't sure about what kinda flow you have or your preference between pad and pon so I mixed it up a bit. I'm wild like that. But enjoy that Thwomp pillow and I know the coffee crisps are long gone by now!

Nothing can counter the beard thread.  A clean shaven thread would be an homage to prepubescence, it would be a thread of shame.

I'd still embrace and accept all who post there though, so I guess I'm drifting into hyperbole.
