I'm currently trying to figure out how possible it would be to add bluetooth functionality to a JD40. I've seen people working on adding bluetooth to other keyboards using a teensy 2.0, specifically modded HHKBs however they have significantly more space internally for extra parts. I have an idea about what I'll need hardware wise in order to get this to work, however I'm not entirely sure if I have enough space to work with.
Can someone with a JD40 in hand take a picture of the side view of the keyboard for me? I know that they have roughly .5 inches of space between the top and bottom plate but I'm curious how much space is between the pcb and bottom plate. In addition would anyone be able to comment on whether or not using longer spacers between the top and bottom plate seems like a good or bad idea?
