Alright, everyone.  I've been collecting keycaps for awhile now, and I've realized lately that I'm just hoarding.  I want to share the love and spread these around.  I want them to go to people who will appreciate them and use them, rather than collectors (I've pondered this for quite some time, and this is what I need to do).

The rules:
- Do not PM me
- Make a post in here saying why you think I should sell the cap to you; you can ask for multiple caps, that's fine
- I will favour people without artisan caps
- I will favour people who have a specific use for the cap (ie, you have an empty spot on your keyboard that needs a given cap)
- I will sell these at retail; don't bid, it's not an auction

This is not a competition, it's not a raffle, and it doesn't have a set end date.  I will keep a cap listed until someone posts that I think it should go to, at which point I will sell it.

All shipping is not included, and will be $5.25 for CONUS (Small Flat Rate Priority).  For international, we will have to discuss that further.  I am open to international sales, but it's more complicated, so bear with me.

If you prefer payment as goods, that is your choice, and you must add the fees on top of the asking price.  If you are a new user, I may require payment as gift, to protect myself.  If that's not okay, I'm sorry.

I love Brobots and do collect them. At this moment though, my Brobots are Topre. I don't even have one in MX. And I have been trying to get one since the Mashup Sale but have not been lucky - so my Code Clear keyboard has no Brobots at all) and I recently ordered a JD40 with MX Green and that Reactor Core Green BBV2 (GID) (MX) would look so good being lighted up by the white Code LED or sits beautifully on the MX Green JD40. I believe JD40 has LED too, not quite sure. Pick me?

Hey Hoff,

Right off the bat, just letting you know I already have a few artisan keycaps, but I thought I might aswell just give it a try.
I'm really interested in the Steel BBV2 as I'm planning to make keyboard with a custom layout made out of mild steel and would think it would go awesome with my mild steel plate cover which you can see the start of my build log here. It's still in the early stages so nothing that interesting has been posted . Other than that I am also really interested in the reactor green as I would love to have it when I finally find someone selling or when [CTRL]ALT starts selling their left over toxic sets.

Hopefully you choose me for these caps, and thanks for doing this Hoff!

I've been sitting on the clack/BroBot sidelines, because no one ever wants to sell these items, only trade. If they do, I'm always too late.
I'm looking at the Clack / GID BBv2 / High 'C' BBv2 (didn't notice it was Topre, I don't have any OG Topre boards) (in that order, but please only give me one). Whichever is available. For the love of God man, I need this.

I'm not a person without any artisan caps, but I remember when that Spirit Blue Reaper went on sale this summer and how it was
what I would consider the best looking Reaper ever.  And the fact that this one is Topre is perfect as I have a black HHKB Pro that so
direly needs a beautiful cap like that as the escape key.  It's blue, its red, its translucent, and it's baller.    Finally, I would get some
recognition from my co-workers that think collecting keyboards and artisan keycaps is silly when they see that cap. They will bow down
in acceptance of the ultimate BroCap Spirit Reaper.

Hey! Thanks for doing this. I have always wanted the angry summer brocap set since I first laid eyes on it back when it was released. Sadly I haven't been able to find one that's for sale until now, and I am super interested in buying it. Red, Orange and Yellow have been my favorite colors since I understood the concept of having a favorite color. These would look great on my newly built Viper. Here is a picture of the board: You seem like a great guy, and one day if I accumulate more than a few clacks/brobots/artisan caps, I will give some of them away in the same way that you are giving back to the community. I saw your post on Bro Caps Gallery about this, it is very nice of you and other members such as nub and demik who did these events in the past few weeks to distribute (not sure if I use the correct word) artisan keycaps to the others.

As for me, I would love to have a High 'C' BBV2 for my newly purchase HHKB Pro 2. It would go beautifully with the white keyboard and I'm gonna treasure the heck out of the thing.

Hi!

First off, would like to thank you for this opportunity. I love that you're spreading the love (loveception?).

I started on the keyboard scene very late and because of school, missed a good amount of stuff. I missed tons of korean customs, awesome and really wanted cherry dyesub sets, and other keycap sets. I still dont have any other keycap sets other than my stock ABS caps! Fast forward, I just got my first clack (blue trabe) from the EK raffle, which I did not realize and expect. Eventhough it wasn't a skull, it was a clack, and that made me happy! Beggers can't be choosers!

I've seen Dustin's collection and my eyes just refuse to stop looking at the enormous collection.

Looking to get a keycap from each keycap maker, bro was my interest during the summer and really wanted Sifo's soul or the essence of kirkle. Missed both but oh well, next time right?
So now I only have the trabe and realized I could use some keycaps to take over my useless media keys.
Getting a skull clack, a bro cap, or anything would be awesome for me to help start my collection. I obly have one keyboard, the QFR, and if you choose me, i would like any cherry MX key.

Big Hoffman! It's really cool to see more and more members give back and do something completely generous and selfless for the community, Nubbs and demik included 

Before I start my submission, I want to use this opportunity to quickly touch upon my thoughts on novelty caps usage and collecting 

I feel that novelties should not be hoarded, and never really understood the appeal of having 10 different coloured keycaps (rainbow vomit?) on a keyboard.
I feel that with the right colour scheme and right novelty keycap, you can really transform an already great looking keyboard and REALLY elevate it to the next level. 

One great example of this would be Longzilla's keyboard, which is also one of my favourite colour schemes:

It looks really good already with matching orange and orange LEDs, but the Hack Orange really accentuates the orange and adds a lot to it

That said, I wish everyone good luck, and hope that these keycaps will go to someone who will use it, and have a really cool keycap to compliment their keyboard 



For my submission, I am currently building a keyboard for the first time, a custom 60% with parts from all over the world, which unfortunately still needs a plate and case before I can start assembling it.

The inspiration for my build, which is yet another great keyboard/keycap combination, is Fnzzy's Viper Full gallery here


I really like how the mint key compliments such a clean keyboard, and I would love to have a Minty Gum to use with a classic white/black/beige BSP set on my 60% work-in-progress board.

Not sure what would be counted as "deserving" for artisan caps.

I do collect artisan caps. I've joined in on sales for several "starting" makers (went in on the first and second krytone sales, first mandolin cap sale, etc) and I like supporting them. The only artisan topre caps I have currently came defective from one of these sales and it's quite unfortunate because the seller never sent out the replacements =(

The main ones I'm interested in are the bingecaps since he stopped making them before I was even part of the community and I've never won a brocap even if I've entered several drawings.

The first one I'm interested in is the blue slushy lion since I love blue and the incoming mobik is going to have blue LEDs
The second one I'm interested in is the keythulu. I've heard so much about the keythulus =(
The third one I'm interested in is the peach tea lion... because I love tea
The fourth one is definitely the topre reaper from brocap to put on the HHKB and replace the defective caps =S
And fifth is the high-c brobot v2 topre for the same reason as the reaper

Wow I've never seen so many of those keycaps! The lion keyngs definitely look the best, especially the Tang Lion keycap.

I am really interested in the High 'C' BBV2 Topre keycap. I haven't ever had an artisan keycap before and I would love one to accompany my HHKB Pro 2 Black with blank white keycaps which is currently in the mail from Amazon Japan! Being from Australia it is hard enough having this hobby, but to get my hands on a keycap like this, would be almost impossible!

First of all, I need to say: I love clack, brobot and every beautiful keycap. They are not only decoration for keyboard. I believe they are babies from author created.
I believe all collector want them. Because they look like perfect.
For many beginners, I already have a lot of good collection. But in honest, I am also a new player in keyboard world. I just begun three months ago.
There are a lot of people don't know why I can have so many good collect so fast. I will tell you: If you really love it, you will be thoroughly love it.
