The only artisan caps in my collection are 2 binge caps that were defects, and i would love to add that Peach Tea keythulu to my filco, the color would almost match perfectly with it's case. also I have been enthralled with the cthulhu mythos for many years and that style is probably my favorite artisan cap. The other cap I would love to own is the High 'C' BBv2, I can picture it on my HHKB, and the thrill of the hunt to find an fn cap to match, also trying to dye my modifiers to match that sweet sweet orange.  Fingers crossed for at least that keythulu.

Edited to say that my first Bro is in the mail, a mx Bro Purple.  Still no topre Bro, my HHKB is so lonely.

Since I've just finished up my own brocaps at cost sale (actually at lost  ), I thought I might reinvest the proceeds into ANOTHER BROCAP!

specifically, the steelbot MX.  i'm a huge lover of metal caps (especially the actually well made ones) and since I already have a goldbot MX, I think they would make a good match!

a match for what?  what else except my upcoming '2 BROs in a world gone not quite dead' series.  One BRO fresh-faced and ridiculously shiny; the other with a steel complexion (literally).  What will happen when it's just the two again against the zombro hordes?

Hi, Hoff. I really want the steel BBV2 and the Angry Summer Set BBV2 and the CC. I am really new on geekhack, I have ever seen some pics of BBV2, and I really like them. But unfortunately I don't have any of them, and I even don't have any artisan keycaps.

I am from China, it is really hard to get these beautiful artisan keycaps. Many friends of mine are very interested in brocaps but don't have chance to touch them, we could just look at the pics of them. So I really want some BBV2 to share with my friends and Chinese keyboard lovers. Thanks a lot!

A little bit of background. I got into keyboards about 2 years ago and have been steadily increasing my collection. I have a little artisan caps collection going, mostly star wars themed and 2 binge caps. Although I do not post much publicly here I try to contribute to community and help out where I can (pay it forward as they say). I've done quite a bit of various trades through WTB threads.

More to the point. I am not a huge fan of artisan keycaps, my inner minimalist enjoys more reserved designs. However I found recently that blue grey eagle case goes very well with gold (at least in my opinion) as you can see here



And the bro bot design is the only one that my minimalistic sense really enjoys because of the clean lines and lack of "artisan" like detail from sculpturing.

I have not been lucky enough to get my hands on any bro bots, mostly because it is much more difficult to do so in Europe (sales start at 3 am  because of the time zone, slower connection to US) and the recent ruffles have been unsuccessful although I have entered all of them.

So I would like to kindly ask you to consider selling me the gold bro bot, it would really complete my eagle so I can take even nicer pics with that true metal shine    I would also be interested in the angry summer set. And as my eagle is Russian and the Summer there has been pretty angry I think it will fit too Funny story, when I tried to get Angry Summer through the email sale back then. I decided to register outlook email because you know he uses outlook for the email sales. Well here I am at 3 am or so trying to use outlook email for the first time and send the goddamn list. When that thing tells me I have to verify and I cant send emails , Its all over and too late at that point of course. it was Sunday or something as far as I remember and there is work tomorrow. My girlfriend realised I was awake and thought I was secretly watching porn in the middle of the night (that was a fun morning conversation on monday...). I don't think she really believes me still since I never got any caps.

But I ramble. Thanks for doing this, whichever way this goes. Good to see someone spreading the caps not only to the guy with the fastest trigger finger stocking the forums. Some of us with a other things to do also get a chance

I respect that you are doing this and although I don't have quite the collection I've decided to have a small giveaway (on reddit). Will add one more from my collection for each cap you let me buy, so its for a good cause

Currently have zero real valuable caps, the only real nice single caps I've got is two KBK caps and one of them isnt usable (to wide/thick). I also support a lot of new cap makers, got several caps from Hotkey Project, picked up caps from KatzenKinder 0.95 sale (missed the 1.0 sale), going to pick up a Mandolin monster-cat-creature and will continue to support new cap makers.

Also been stalking classifieds since I joined just to get to buy one ****ing brobot. Honestly dont see what others see in Clacky skull, I do however see what people see in the brobots. To me they are the most badass caps around.

Im interested in: Reactor Core Green BBV2, Angry Summer Set BBV2, Steel BBV2 (at least one, prefer two) and either Peach Tea Lion Keyng or Tang Lion Keyng B-Stock (money isn't a problem)

Your Hot Lips Grizzle Key in MX flavor has caught my eye, Hoffbae. It'll take the Esc spot on my Happy with the GMK Cyrillic keyset. The grizzle/cyrillic reds look so compatible I might vomit. I'll look at it every once in a while to remind myself to chill out and stop neglecting **** while I'm job searching and find my way back to you/GH

I like the Steel BBv2, always loved that one. I don't have any artisan caps, at one point I had some Hellboy caps but I sold them to fund something that I hope it will be the end game board. One of the Hellboy caps went as a gift to another true Hellboy and Mignola fan, it feels good to do something like that
Now back to my board, this one will be a black themed NerD60, black Vortex low profile case, black GON plate, vintage black switches with 55g springs and WoB Cherry caps with CMYW mods. So this Steel BBv2 would go nice with this board
I worked hard to get every piece that will be part of this board, and behind some of them there is also a nice story. The case is a gift from 2 friends and work buddies, the Cherry caps are from a small GB that was run here on GH by hwood34 and he was so nice to arrange for international shipping, the spacebar is an original Cherry 7u black spacebar with scuffs and scars because it was rescued by a tru keyboard enthusiast from the dumpster and I got it as a gift, the CMYW mods which represent the essence of this community where you can get help from the most unexpected places. And all of this will be used on the best  60% the NerD60

only one I'd really like is the Steel Brobot since I would actually use it. never owned an artisan cap and never actually planned to hunt for one since it's so difficult to get them at a good price. as a minimalist, I would only want one, for my one and only poker II board, and that one would be pretty much perfect.
but I don't want to say I want it a lot more than anyone else here, so, may the most kawaii kid win.

I've been trying to get a BBv2 since I started getting more active on GH a few months ago, but it's hard since I don't really have anything worth trading for them.

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for the High 'C' Topre BB.

I have two boards which are my daily drivers.  An MX board I built and a Topre FC660C.  Unfortunately there are no replacement keysets for the FC660C, so the only way to get any color on that board is with artisan caps.  I still do not have any color on that board, so if I can buy this cap I will be using it as my Esc key.

But, there is a but, it would be international and I would have to take a look at funding this. But I apply and will worry about that if I need to worry about that.

Hi Hoff, I would like to preface this application with a thank you. I hardly ever see people give up their one or two of their keycaps, let alone so many and for such fair prices. I would like to apply for an opportunity to purchase the Blue Slushy Lion by Binge. I have always adored Binge's work, because it is really beautiful. I love the detail and colours (of which this one matches my keyboard perfectly) he puts into his keycaps, and I also really like Binge. The few times I've talked to him he's been more then willing to answer any question I ask, no problem. We also have a lot of common interests, and it would mean a lot to me to own something such a great person has made. Thanks a lot for putting this together, and I wish everyone luck!

Hello Hoff, I would really love the Topre Reaper. I love the design and I think it would fit perfectly on my HHKB! My current setup is the white set on a black board, with the red control and blue escape key. That Reaper color way would make an incredible addition to my board. I need something to tie it all together. I would love the have that reaper complete my board and help me bring about my HHKB end game board!

I'd like a shot at Steel BBv2, or Reactor Core and really any Bro.
I have yet to win a sale though I have been trying.
I wasn't overly fond of artisan caps when I joined but have developed a love for a few with time.
BBv2 is one of the designs I enjoy. Honestly out of the ones you are offering Steel fits best with my keyboards.
Green might work with cmy. I've never been a fan of those other colors much.
I'd ultimately be trying to trade for Slurple, Tyrian, or another Trans BBv2 [pink/purple my faaaave]
But it would be my ESC until that fateful day.

I'd really like that reaper for my teensy-powered HHKB Pro 2 and I'm currently sitting at 0 bro caps of any kind. When I first came around I managed to get my hands on three topre bro v2s (kirkle, army man, and steel) and sold them all for retail when I changed my color scheme. Recently I sold my beloved Jawless because it was just sitting around (got it by trading a conservative red I bought in a sale), again for retail. Come to think of it, I let a few of Martin's caps go as well as my Bro Set all for retail too!

What it comes down to is that I'm here for the fun. If you don't sell that reaper to me, I'm sure you'll find someone who'd enjoy it just as much; It's a great feeling to hook a noob up with their first artisan cap!

A very nice gesture, thanks for sharing the artisan cap love.  As I'm sure you know, it's really hard to get started in this hobby.

My only "real" keyboard is a hhkb which I use every day.  I've got no brobots nor any clacks, but I do have a nice gasmask and a pair of fn blanks from Martin.

I'd appreciate the opportunity to buy either the high bbv2 or the reaper!  My hhkb is blank, and having the gasmask up above my delete key is really nice for touch typing, as it helps me figure out which key I'm about to hit.

Either way, thanks for the generosity.  People like you make geekhack a friendly and great place to be.

Hoff, I can honestly say I would absolutely treasure that Steel BB V2 for one of my Poker II (hmm, blacks or blues?) boards. What would be better for my Brobotless board than something I could lick in the middle of my first Canadian winter after my move and get my tongue stuck to? Thanks for doing this Hoffman even though I'm a fairly new user/lurker that just started getting into customizing mechanical keyboards. It would be super cool if I could buy that Steel BBV2 from you since I think it would work well with my keyboard theme of silver and white.

The plan is to paint the case of the keyboard a silver/titanium colour but unfortunately its winter right now and I don't want the paint to crack.

Happy Thanksgiving!  I really appreciate what you and a bunch of the other guys are doing for the community when goodwill threads like this popup.

I have two MX boards and I just got my first Topre board in today (HHKB [typing on it now, and getting used to the layout]), all three of which are novelty and artisan cap-less.  I'm hoping to change that and finally join the club(s) soon.  Everything that you're offering looks great and I hope every cap listed ends up making someone happy.  To be honest, it's hard not to be greedy and say you want everything.  If I could snag a cap for each of my boards, I'd probably go with the Mint Gum Clack, the Steel BBV2, and the Purple on Dark Grey Grizzle Key, but I'd be a happy sailor with any one of those!
