Seriously, even after nearly twenty years in some sort of IT-adjacent field and a lifetime of making and DIY, a friend just now told me about this concept and this site.
I'm fascinated because I dislike the feel and config of a number of new keyboards and, despite never hacking input devices to any great degree (except fixing them to get them to work again), I'm a very DIY sort of person and always interested in learning more DIY stuff.
So I probably know nothing of the products and lingo that are second nature to many of you so, when we interact, please treat me like a friendly but occasionally sarcastic five year old.

See you around the wild world web,
John Shaft (yes, I know and...ya know...I kinda am)
PS: My vision is not all that great. Do we always have to type the stupid human test before we can submit a post or is that just in the Intro section or just until one has a certain number of posts?
