Should I go through eBay resolution team? Getting worried.
Oh wow, that doesn't bode well. I hope I didn't screw over people by linking this.
I'm going to hold off contacting the resolutions department though. A few reasons:
- The user had a decent number of previous transactions.
- I received a message from eBay and the seller saying the item had shipped. Expected delivery in 18-45 days.
Economy shipping from China is kinda weird. They wait until they fill up a "packet" which is really just a shipping container from that region, then send everything bulk overseas. The earliest I've gotten something from China is about a week and a half, the longest was 4.5 weeks. It is hard to pin down when it gets shipped unless you have the packet number/tracking number. However, if the delivery does not arrive by Feb. 26th, which is the outside bound of the shipping estimate by eBay, I will contact the resolution center. The account will be there on the 26th. I know I ordered on Jan. 6th, and the account was deactivated sometime between then and now (Jan. 26th). The site said that all deactivated accounts are kept visible for 60 days after shutdown to prevent issues, so I have plenty of time.
A few questions: Did you get an eBay sale confirmation? Did you get a message from the user after shipping? Did you get an eBay message after shipping?
