I like the idea of being able to put on either Topre or Cherry keycaps, but I worry about the same things I do with  rubberdomes wearing out faster. Then again you don't need to bottom out fully to be able to actuate so it might not be that bad.

The body looks cheap in the front to me though. I think it's just the rounded front end that really does it for me.

Noppoo has let me down time and time again. I personally would pass due to my own experiences with that company's products.

I'm pretty sure these are MX only.  They are topre switches, but only MX compatible.  You may be able to fix that by cutting/shaving down each switch individually to accept a standard topre stem.

At the very least it might make for a cheaper donor board for MX sliders :P

I've only seen negative reviews of them.  Someone on DT got one and said it was lousy quality and had a poor feel.

I have never had a rubberdome keyboard wear out on me, and I've had my fair share that have recieved serious abuse. In fact, I've never had a keyboard fail on me, ever. Even if rubberdome does wear faster, I'm not sure that would be a concern.

The Noppoo, if nothing else is a cheap option, relatively speaking, for slider harvesting. It is an inexpensive risk to take to try something Topre-ish, perhaps best suited for someone who isn't ready to drop all that $$ on a HHKB or Realforce.

I joined the drop for this board, but I'm not getting it for myself - I could never do fullsize! It will be a gift for someone else who is interested in this. I think they will enjoy it, particluarly since they have not tried true Torpe before.

I like it a lot. Mainly because it allows more interesting modding options on existing Topre boards. If the plate hole sizes match (they look darn close to the 14mmx14mm of MX switches), it may even be possible to make a real frankenstein board with these sliders and switch tops, RealFroce domes and PCB and an MX plate and case. :D Then add an LED mod using the holes provided and you've got a very interesting an unique "custom".
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Tpore with POM keycaps + Cherry MX changeable + considerably low price, seems to be a great deal.

I love that aluminum plate underneath btw
