Looks like they will be offering 3 different materials for their plates.

That looks pretty sick. Do acryllic plates and metal plates feel very different?

Different plates accommodate different switch types better. I'm pretty sure STS is great for linears or something like that.

Stainless Steel, most likely.

I will probably install some blacks if I end up getting an Orion v2. Should I go with a stainless steel plate then? I never had an acryllic plate and they look cool.

Ah, I'm so excited for this GB. I already got some ALPS boards to salvage for my ALPS PCB and plate... and I'll probably have some leftover Gaterons for the MX PCB and plate.

What do you want to do?

Just to see what different plates feel like. And if we get to order additional PCBs as well, then even better, I can solder 2 PCBs with both plates!

The plastic plate isn't acrylic. It's a flexible plastic plate. The aluminum plate won't have an  anodized option. You can order extras as long as you order a main set.

I believe it's 11 deg on the viper and on the orion v2, but it looks like it's a bit lower with the acrylic bottom.

It is 7 degrees with the acrylic bottom

I am guessing the 7 degree acrylic bottom will not be available in aluminum? The render duck posted a week or so ago showed it with a solid material. Guess I interpreted it wrong then.

Orion V2 slope , in the case of aluminum is 11 degrees, 7 degrees in the case of acrylic lower plate .
Acrylic lower plate material , it was produced by using the light diffusion plate .
And of light spread is highly recommend .

It is even more beautiful and actually see .
