I purchased a set of DSA Dolch keycaps from pimpmykeyboard.com a few weeks ago. They're my second set of caps, the first being a set of replacements for my Leopold Tenkeyless after the A key on the default set started popping off while gaming.
Some of the key caps wouldn't stay on on the Leopold Tenkeyless as it didn't have any of the metal bar stabilizers for the spacebar, backspace, shift, etc. So I decided to switch the caps over to my Code Keyboard Tenkeyless. The shift keys and return key work just fine with the stabilizers but the white plastic parts that go into the slots on either side of the keys (the ones that hook into the metal bar) fall out on the space bar and backspace key. If I hit the key dead center it registers the keystroke just fine, but if I hit it off center, the key feels awful and sometimes doesn't register.
Is there any way I can get some replacements for the white spacers? I don't know the name of them, so I hope I explained what they are well enough. I've thought about hot gluing them in, or taking some sticky stuff and jamming it into the bottom of the key cap so the spacer doesn't fall out, but I'm not sure if either are a good idea. Ideally I could just order some replacements, but I'm open to cheaper solutions.
