Unfortunately my two plates had a lot of residue on them. I will probably never clean anyway so its fine. I do have some issues with my cherry stabilizers not sittning thightly. I can easily dislodge them. Anyone else?

I can send you an extra ISO if you want. Sorry for the residue that was entirely my fault.

The Cherry stabs fit somewhat tightly for me, but if they're loose, I would suggest gluing them in. If you think there could be improvements, contact SwillKB. He is the man behind the design tool used for this plates.

I will probably glue my own, as I will never remove them. If you use a heat glue, you can remove it later if needed.

NO! Do not send me a new plate. Its only glue, it comes off. Actually, i dont think you should offer people replacements since they are not broken. No one expects that of you. Just keep on with the awesomely smooth gb :)

.....And... Make an QFR/Filco compatible tkl plate <3

Are you thinking Phantom/Teensy or just a replacement plate so you have notches on QFR/Filco? I'm in the same boat myself. Been thinking of putting Phantom in my QFR-I, off-center caps lock and split right shift (if possible).

Here's some info from another thread:
I had to cut a mini usb cable and solder the ends to the QFR USB board. So the mini usb cable connects to the teensy and the exposed wires are just soldered onto the QFR board. Wasn't too hard to do really and there's plenty of room in the case for everything.

I did notice one small problem with using a Phantom in a QFR case after after about 2 weeks of use. The plate and PCB do move slightly in the case if you travel with the keyboard or hit it hard on your desk. It's a pretty stiff move so it doesn't really bother me too much. I haven't found a good way to screw it to the case in a way where it won't do that. I think the problem is due to the fact that my stainless steel mounting plate is flat and the QFR requires curved edges. If you had the right plate or managed to find a way to use the QFR stock plate you probably wouldn't have a problem. Again, not really an issue that I care about... but it might bug some.

Plate arrived safe-and-sound. Just a little tape residue to clean in up on one end, but otherwise in perfect condition. Thank youLeandreN!

Yes it did have a little tap residue, but I was able to get it off easily with some soap and a sponge.

I'm not a stamps collector but these ones look nice.

Picture with autograph!

Sticky plates.

After some cleaning I took the glue off, it might not be pretty but it's not sticky either.

This was my first GB and I'm very satisfied.

The dark spots are from where I used the scruffy pad of the sponge.  You could probably avoid the same results if you just use the soft side.  It doesn't really matter for me though, I'll be painting my plate as well.

I do have some issues with my cherry stabilizers not sittning thightly. I can easily dislodge them. Anyone else?

These are plate mounted stabilizers you are using, correct? Do they dislodge from the "top" part of the stabilizer hole? If so, that has to do with the design of the hole. That notch on the hole is for Costar stabilizer compatibility, but it's not present in the Cherry-only stabilizer hole design. It prevents the Cherry plate mount stabilizers from clipping onto the plate as they should, and therefore the stabilizers come out easily. It's a design compromise, for inclusion of Costar compatibility.

Bent it back easily but its a little uneven now.. Bit of tape residue but there's no issue with that. Just wondering how I can make it completely flat.

Looks like its more bent than "a little uneven" I am sure you can get it 85% flat with your hands and just lay it under a heavy book or something over the night to get it straight. Sorry about the issue.

It's fine, it's not your issue. Probably the silly US Mail system :)

It's pretty flat right now, just gonna put it under some books like you said and wait.

You will forgive the obscene photo quality, it's just to show how perfectly the plate fits into a Pexon's 60% case on a Satan GH60 PCB.

let me know how that Satan PCB works.
Works well, it comes with a basic firmware already so it's ready to go. The only thing I've noticed is that the Cherry spacebar stabilizer gets easily stuck between PCB and place, I'm taking it out and getting a Costar stab for that. The 2u Cherry stabilizers work flawlessly.

Not yet but I'm trying since getting Costar stabs in Europe is rather hard and expensive. Maybe someone should consider running a groupbuy for them along with plates.

Yes, that's the place. I got the older model with only the controller parts pre-soldered. They are on sale, since they came out with a new version with more RGB LED's on the bottom of the board.

Shipping is high though.

Sprit may also still have some of his PCB's available. They are very similar to the B.face. No RGB LED's, but all the diodes and resistors are pre-soldered.

My plates arrived safe and sound, only a tiny bit of bending vertically (I expected to find them snapped in half by the postal service). I got too excited and didn't take any pictures before fitting everything together, but I'll post pictures of the one in progress when I get home! It took a tiny bit of fiddling to get them on around the stabilizers, but that was the only thing I noticed, other than that these are absolutely beautiful (and heavy). Thanks so much LeandreN!

Edit: I was surprised to find that my two plates weren't taped together, bonus win.

Very slight bend, fixed by hand right away. Tiny scuff and tape residue on Esc corner, nothing I care about.

Mine arrived last Friday, though I was busy to write back. Just a little bit bent, I made it flat now. Excellent quality(no residue) and switches fit like a charm. It actually makes me regret having started to build a custom keyboard with an acrylic plate. This will be next in the list. Thanks a lot Leandren.

Mine arrived today.  A little tape residue needs to be removed with some isopropyl alcohol but otherwise perfect.

Now all I need are all the other parts.

I strongly recommend a Satan GH60 and a plastic 60% case (unless you prefer aluminum), you can find both on Aliexpress.

Mine had arrived in perfect shape, I was overseas and just came back home.

Thanks for an awesome GB!

I received plates. I don't like it. It had problems like tape on left & right fringe, bend plate....even ESC position is twisted...
I don't think I can use it...
I don't know I give it become original status (straight plate). Who can show me?
I'm thinking this is first bad GB which I participated ....

I am so sad now  :-[

PS: You packaged plate uncarefully, I think.

My plate arrived with only a very slight bend, came out nicer than expected.

Quochung, the tape residue should just wipe off and even that bend shouldn't be too hard to make flat again.

The trick to unbending Metal is to take the time to understand how it is bent and then apply a balanced opposite force.

If you bend it randomly it gets worse
