Is this a slider/dome or a different switch type?
« on: Fri, 22 May 2015, 23:09:35 »

Got this the other day. Has a spring underneath the keycap. Looks like it is probably a cheap slider over rubber dome but it doesn't feel bad to type on.

I wonder where that keyboard has been, yuk...oh you were asking about a switch type: I say yes, it is definitely a place where a key goes, my money is on membrane...any other pictures?

That is most probably a Key Tronic foam and foil switch.
If there is a model number and it starts with an E and then four or eight digits then it is definitely a Key Tronic keyboard.

They are capacitative so they should have n-key rollover. The foam discs have sometimes deteriorated too much in older keyboards so that they no longer work - but there are ways to make new foam discs at home, or buy from eBay.

Yep looks exactly the same to me. Keyboard is a Harris-Lanier 301-2100. The only other marking besides serial number is this one. F/N: ET3182A51-C
