Looking around to buy a FC660C
« on: Wed, 17 June 2015, 13:53:43 »
Hi guys,

I am looking around to buy a FC660C. And I found some listings on Ebay.
The one I want is 250 dollars, the grey one, and I guess that includes shipping.
Is it reasonable? or are there any other ways to buy them for better price?

I mean like is this even necessary? Chill with the spam man.

As for the discussion at hand, I don't recall what exact prices were, but around $200-$250 is the general range for most topre boards, so yeah that price seems right.

The price seems too high to me. I got mine for $230 AUD which is about 180 USD, and that's also the price they're listed for, new, in a local store. Of course they don't have any in stock there...

is it reasonable? no. but unless you live in asia, that is the only place you can purchase a brand new fc660c.
funny how price jumped from 180 to 250  :))

That's the one I got, from Widebasket on Ebay. Transaction was very smooth. I took 2 weeks to get it (I'm in Canada). And I'm very happy with the Leopold, it's a great keyboard, the alphas are perfect.

OP that's a fairly good price, considering it's the "better" model with the grey dyesubs. widebasket is the seller?

Out of curiosity, why is that the better model? Are the others laser-engraved or something?

I think the previous version was pad printed. Also, they made minor revisions to the way that it was built.

Supposedly, the second version has slightly heavier domes and overall better quality control.

Maybe someone else can shed more light on this.

Fair enough. The one I ended up buying is dyesub, so yay for that I guess.

Although pad-printed might have been nice - I could make them blank!

I ended up buying laser printed one. Black color.
I did not read the description carefully and I picked the cheaper one hahaha.
I love it though!

I was asking people if someone had fc660c that need to be gone.
I guess I should not have said that other than classified.
