Sticky spacebar stabilizer
« on: Wed, 22 July 2015, 00:25:21 »
Hey guys,

Can anyone help me with this? I was reversing the spacebar on my Poker X, and now the spoacebar's left side is sticky. The spacebar is actuating fine, but there is no travel at all on the left side. In other words, if I tap it, it doesn't move, but it does give me a space.

It isn't an issue with the reverse, cause when I tried reverting it to the original orientation and it's now still sticky. It looks like it's an issue with the wire stabilizer. The + stem on the right stab isn't lifting the one on the left side when i left it up with my hand, whereas the one on the left stab will lift the one on the right.

Please help :/

Sometimes if a stab is just acting sticky and I haven't taken it apart and caused something to become messed up, I'll just put some lube on the spacebar stem and the slider on the stab. Kind of a dumb fix but it always seems to work

So put some lube on the sliders? I'll give that a shot, thanks!

I looked at it some more, and it looks like the right slider is having a tough time gripping unto the stabilizer wire. I guess that's why when the space bar goes back up, the left stab isn't coming up since the right one isn't lifting the wire with it. Not too sure what's going on though.
